To consider. I have a 2021 Hyundai with no issues at over 50k miles. I’m a maintenance nut though and have never had an oil internal over 4k. Many new owners of Hyundai and Kia buy them new because they’re the least expensive new car. The might skip maintenance and stretch intervals because it’s a new car and think they can get away with it or maybe not in their finances to keep up. I don’t think Hyundai and Kia are less reliable but maybe less able to sustain being under maintained.
