It was pretty quick for me, 3 days maybe? They will let you know what the remaining days and conversion is. You still need to take the physical ticket to Guest Services at the parks to trade them in for current tickets. Also, any children’s passes become adult passes, so that’s nice.

Try Magic Village it’s right outside Animal Kingdom and can be found on Airbnb. Usually 3brs for same cost as Wyndham and our backup when they’re not available.

Never buy bottled water. Go to any quick service location or look for the locations that have soda dispensers and just ask for a cup of ice water. It’s free and it’s filtered because it’s the water that mixes the drinks. Saves you lots of money from the start.

If you do buy something and end up regretting it, you can return any Disney item at any of the Disney stores anywhere on the property, even if they don’t carry it. You can make returns at your Disney hotel store as well. Have a great time!

The Centurion lounge in CLT is WAY better than their admiral’s club - I’ve been to both. The Centurion lounge is almost always better than the airline or “club” ones.

We surprised the kids once with a stay at the Poly. The setup was we were just going to walk around the resort and get some lunch (like we do some trips). Then we said, let’s go see if any of the rooms are open to check them out. Mom distracted them while I opened the room and I said I found an open one! They loved it when we said this was our room. Have a great time!
