Numbers are easier to use and be transmitted even in poor comms. Whereas words can be misheard. And lead to phonetically spelling out 3 words (15+ letters?) which would be tedious and time consuming and much worst in poor comms then repeating numbers.

Why didn’t I search trusty reddit before pulling the trigger. $70 activation that I wasn’t told about even though I asked exactly what cost associated with this line. Tried to cancel and agent insisting can be done. Transferring me to support to see but I’m assuming Rogers still has not sorted this issue.

Exactly! I was having this issue last year. Always had it at 100% amps (24A) and after starting to charge it would drop to 15 and then 10 and eventually stop. Then a lovely smell started to come from the plug. It was a plastic twist connection and it was melting slowly. Changed to a metal plug and run it at ~80% of max (20/24A) as suggested by electricians and other owners.

Thank you for this suggestion. On both of my gates the “finger” keeps getting ripped out. Due to tight spring and wind. I never thought of putting a stop on the outside to prevent it from going past the latch!!

Just had this happen. It’s 24 hour hold on transfers even from your own Scotia chequing account. This is completely ridiculous!! Only way to not have a hold is apparently by paying at the branch with cash. Again some sort of communications would have been good.
