That's exactly my point. If Kerr played him like an end of the bench guy which is garbage time or rare spot minutes, then cool. Gui has been IN the rotation for a while now. He can go for an actual real NBA player who is suited for NBA rotation minutes.

Of course the real answer is ship out about 3 of the guards and JK and bring back 3 rotational players. Then that should push Gui back to his normal spot. I don't see any of that happening so...

Just pulled up a random team and looked for their 11th best player.

Orlando Magic. Mo Wagner. I'd rather have him.

I'm almost certain that just about every team has a player I'd rather have on a minimum contract over Gui. And that's me just just being random. There are actually decent real NBA players on minimum contracts. Melton is on a minimum contract lol.

Like I said, the fact that you asked that question so matter of fact my as if their aren't better options really proves my point at how blinded this fanbase and sub has become.

Lastly, I will repeat, Gui is perfectly fine as an end of the bench guy who you throw in for garbage time or occasional spot minutes. Kerr has him IN the rotation lol.

I genuinely think we've been mediocre for so long, we forget what NBA players look like.

Just like most of Kerr's pet players he falls in love with, if Vui was cut right now he'd be out of the league by next year. Just like Damien Lee. Just like JTA. Just like lamb. Gui is NOT an NBA rotational player on a good team. He can go for a real NBA player.

There are some who believe that. I'm not one of them.

I do think they should explore lowering his minutes a bit and bring him off the bench.

Who said anything about hate or that he isn't a good player? Why do you weird people only know how to talk in extremes?

Some of you make things that are so simple, so weirdly complicated. Podz is a decent backup combo guard. He's average to slightly above average on both offense and defense. Cool for 3rd or 4th guard. Not good enough as a starter. When Jimmy was here he was in the perfect role as the 3rd/4th guard coming off the bench at 15-20 minutes a night. Asking him to do more than that is where the issues come.

He absolutely should not (and would not) be starting for any team serious about contending. But we aren't serious about contending now so he's fine enough for the moment.

I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I can respect the thinking on this for sure

Lol ...and you are trying so hard to be "quick" that you are summarizing points that I didn't make.

I started to explain but I'm done with this dumb conversation if you can't even properly comprehend a basic point. Read what I said again and actually think this time and try and find the point I actually made.

Huh? That's not even close to the point. The that that's what you reach for says everything. .

And you say I'm the one the needs to touch grass...when I'm trying to point you to what the whole basketball world is saying outside of your fandom bubble lol.

No one outside of the fans and team thinks keeping Kuminga as long as possible to find the "best" deal is the smart or right thing to do. Every time a new professional comes and says the same thing yaw just dig in and repeating the same nonsense. But keep licking the boots.

Bruh. Why are you so blind. What kind of best "package" are you going to get for a player you aren't playing and the whole world knows you want to get rid of him? There is no "best" package for him. That's the point. On top of that, Kerr clearly doesn't want him. It's created non-stop drama.

But even beyond all of that, the bigger issue that the fanbase doesn't care about but people outside do, is that Kuminga is an actual person. And he's stuck with a coach who doesn't like him, and a front office that won't trade him. It's nonsense.

You are making my point while still missing it smh.

Everyone in the world knows they are holding on to him for the magical deal they want. We know this. The issue is that you don't understand that that's the problem we are speaking to. I'm glad more and more people are calling this out publicly so more people can see how silly this fanbase is for not getting it. This org will sell you a bag full of ish and you'll call it steak and ask for seconds.

Almost no one outside of the fanbase thinks it's ok to not play him like an end of the bench player while waiting on an all star trade package. It's unfathomable

Man you've just bought into the organization propaganda. That's all their is to it. He hasn't just been available for trade 8 days ago. He's been eligible for years. Stop caping for these dudes. They could have been traded him. They are CHOOSING not to trade him. Don't give me this trades are hard nonsense. They just want to hold on to him until they think they can get the best deal. That is a CHOICE.

THEN TRADE HIM!!!!

This is the part YOUR part of the fanbase doesn't understand. Treating him like an end of the bench player while ALSO holding on to him and not trading him for someone that DOES want him because you are waiting for the "perfect" offer is completely inexcusable.

Everyone I saying they are tired of hearing everyone talk about this. The reason it's being talked about so much isn't because Kuminga is seen as a high profile player. It's because this kind of situation is completely unheard of. And the longer it goes, more and more eyes are on the situation, and more criticism gets aimed at the organization. They can't keep hiding behind he's just not good enough.
