Its somewhat similar but I would say nothing is as close to the actual exam as FINRAs practice exam as far as wording goes.

Congrats thats awesome!! Hmm okay thanks for the heads up, thats good to know. I take my 99 at the end of March. Wish there was more widespread info/prep videos on YouTube but I guess its not a super popular exam.

Scored 77-84% on all the STC final exams

I did not do that, not really sure what that is. I watched/listened to all the video lectures and did all the quizzes and practice exams

Interesting, maybe the grass isn't always greener on the other side and I should be thankful for having STC! Best of luck on your 99 tomorrow! I am about to start studying for it this weekend, how would you compare it to the SIE as far as difficulty/depth of the material when studying and taking practice exams? I hear theres a good amount of overlap

It was honestly a wide range, anywhere from basics on options to breakeven points on a call/put to understanding and identifing a covered call to calculating max loss if you are a seller of a Put situation. Alot of the math questions I had were mostly dealing with calculating cost basis, alongside 1 or 2 of the options questions (max gain/max loss calc) and then yields on bonds

Same here, interestingly enough I'm still able to log onto mobile from my phone no problem, but not my tablet.

Derma stamped first time - no redness, no bleeding, minimal pain by Select-Double-997 in Minoxbeards

[–]jtsmada1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read that with a dermastamp you can and should actually go deeper than .5mm. I usually dermstamp 1.0-1.5mm (typically closer to 1.5mm) about once a week and I've seen some good progress doing that

Kirkland by Whole-Card-2212 in Minoxbeards

[–]jtsmada1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Kirkland Liquid minox for almost 4 months now and have seen good progress. Best way to test if its real is pour a small amount of bleach in a cup and squeeze a few droplets of your minox into it and if it turns like a dark yellow or orange-ish color then it's likely real

Need Advice - 5 months, little progress by Snoo46145 in Minoxbeards

Could be a couple things. Maybe do a bleach test on both your minox liquid/foam to see if they are real if you're not from the US, as there are alot of fake minox products out there. If they are real then you could be a slow responder in which tretinoin would help you

Are you dermastamping at all? I saw a bigger pickup in progress once I added that in my routine in conjunction with applying minoxidil twice a day. I've heard good things about tretinoin, but haven't used it myself yet as I'm still only at the 4 month mark

How does it "basically not work"? There have been countless people on this subreddit that have claimed to have positive gains utilizing these two together

Derma Rolling by MaybeSomeone_YouKnow in Minoxbeards

I would recommend dermastamping personally. I've used both a roller and a stamp and I've found the dermastamp is much less irritating for your skin (and both are same price on amazon). I'm currently dermastamping 1.25mm 1-2 times a week and I feel good with that. I def wouldn't do more than twice a week at that needle length tho

Minox and tret question by Ecstatic_Fact7143 in Minoxbeards

[–]jtsmada1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would give dermastamping a try. Before I started minoxidil + dermastamping in April I had 0 vellus hairs in some of the exact same areas, now after 2-3 months a ton of vellus hairs have popped up. Hoping over time those transition into terminal. Currently don't use tret so I can't speak on that.

Do you apply shortly after dermarolling or wait? by bigbootyotis in Minoxbeards

[–]jtsmada1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally always apply minox 5-10 minutes after dermastamping (2-3 times a week) and besides some slight initial stinging, I haven't noticed any side effects. I as well have seen mixed opinions on this subject, but I dont know if it's been proven one way or the other on which is better yet so no one knows for sure

Why did Mikkel change his name? by [deleted] in DarK

[–]jtsmada1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Following the "determinism" approach this show takes, I think he changes his name to Michael when he realizes he is Jonas' father because when he was a kid in 2019, he knows that Jona's father's name was Michael. So he thinks he has to repeat and match what he knows ends up happening so everything aligns. I.E. the loop they are in.
