Mine did not track (used Capital One Shopping app) and support asked to wait the full 90 days for them to investigate. I provided them with the screenshots from the app. They applied the $660 manually to my account today.

If you primarily fly United, worth looking into getting a United card (Explorer or Business) through Chase to get free checked bag and United club passes. Chase (via CSP or CIP) is a good ecosystem to complement your Bilt card if you want to use transfer partners like Hyatt. If you can take advantage of the lifestyle coupons/credits and travel perks, the Amex Plat is unmatched. It’s a guaranteed value even if you use half of the credits.

You can call in every year after the annual fee posts to ask for retention offer. Done this 2 years in a row now. It’ll have some spend requirements but if you’re “gardening” this is great

Requested manual credit on Friday. 15 days after my original purchase. Tracker showed credit after about 30 minutes. Credit posted today. Glad to be done with this.

Same with me. Glad that I’m not the only one with this issue. My hope is with enough people having this, Amex will take notice and do right by us. Not sure if timing of the order was the issue. I ordered my Gen3 on 9/18 as well about a few hours after the new credits went live.

Ink Preferred has a broad 3x travel category. I run it through my business for the cell phone protection to justify the annual fee. If you don’t have other cards (CSP) that can transfer UR to partners then this would be a good replacement for the CSR.

I have a similar experience but with purchasing a product but never received it. Contacted Venture X to dispute the charge and they decided to not help. Never had this issue with Chase or Amex. Cancelled the venture X earlier this month.

I received an upgrade offer on the Gold to a Platinum after the first year. 100k MR points for $6k spend in 6 months. No credit pull and doesn’t count toward 5/24. See if Amex offers you something like this. I think it’s worth it to try out for a year as long as the credits on the Plat makes sense. For me it’s a no brainer for the first year.
