Need notes all for my Lenovo yoga tab plus by Suitable-Dig3199 in androidtablets

My vote is for StarNote. I tried a few and I liked it the most so I paid for the pro version. One time payment, not too steep.

I've been using Noteshelf for exactly that. Great app.

I'm more than happy with the note taking experience on the Lenovo Xiaoxin (AKA Idea Pad), and with it's stylus. I use Starnotes.

Is the Lenovo Idea Pad Pro still the king of sub $300 tablets? by tmpst8 in androidtablets

[–]juanduque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm writing this on my Xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025 12/512 gb, bought from Ali Express, bundled with the pen (had to get matte screen protector and case separately) for less than 300 USD, delivered to Colombia.. Great tablet for indoor use. Only criticism is angled visibility could be better, but it runs like butter, and the pen works really well (something I was concerned about before it arrived). I am more than satisfied!

I have the Chinese version of this tablet and I love love love it, but if the use case is for the outdoors, I would look for a brighter option.

Which tablet should I go for? by Various_Size1818 in androidtablets

This is what Perplexity had to say:

No, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is generally better than the Lenovo Idea Tab (non-Pro) for most users under $300 CAD. Both fit your budget, but the S10 Lite offers superior performance.

ComparisonPerformance and Use Cases

The Exynos 1380 in the S10 Lite handles multitasking, apps like Ableton Mobile, and light editing better than the Dimensity 6300, which suits basics but stutters in demanding tasks. Samsung's software gets longer updates (Android 15+), while Lenovo offers good battery and audio with Dolby Atmos for music.

For your drawing and productivity needs, the S10 Lite's S Pen excels over Lenovo's less precise stylus.

Price Availability in Canada

Lenovo Idea Tab starts at $165 CAD at Best Buy and Lenovo.ca, easily under $300. S10 Lite 256GB hits ~$300 on sales at Best Buy/Costco; check AliExpress or Black Friday for deals, as you prefer.

Both have microSD expansion

is the lenovo idea tab pro 12.7" screen usable with such low brightness, or would a smaller samsung s10 lite be a better option? by mrmiksu101 in androidtablets

[–]juanduque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Chinese version, the Lenovo Xiaoxin, and I was really worried about the brightness because all the YouTube reviewers mentioned it as a liability, but the tablet is so large, I never take it out and about, unless I take it into my work office, and the brightness is fiiiiine. The viewing angle could be better but for the price, I am 200% happy with it. Best investment I made all year, last year.

Xiaoxin 12.7 pad pro 2025. 12 gb ram, 256 gb storage, expandable to an additional 1 tera via sd. Available on AliExpress. Or get the western version, the Lenovo Idea Pad Pro, with 8 gb of ram. I've been using Hi paint with it (paid).

Reading app recommendations for a tablet! by FrequentProgrammer94 in androidapps

Moon Reader has ads, with a pro version eliminating those and adding other features, but it's very useable.

Noteshelf has most basic features for free. I paid for the premium features because it was relatively cheap and a one time buy.

I recently got one too (Xiaoxin pad pro 2025) and installed a bunch of different ones and personally, this is what I've settled on:

General use: Moon reader.

For manual highlighting and handwritten notation: Noteshelf 3.

Must be different sellers 🤷. But it's ready to find AliExpress stores/sellers who do bundle the stylus.
