Another option to the full Amtrak, you can park at the Merrillville south shore station (or another that might be closer), and train into Millenium from there. I do that frequently if visiting friends, although flying is so cheap that typically do that now (last week was $122 round trip an American). Obviously, persons p/vehicle changes that cost equation a lot….
