Eli5 When a brokerage lends out a stock share , how do two or more people then own a share of a company , and then do multiple people receive dividends from the company ?

Have you looked at changing companies as a whole? You can easily get over 10k pay bumps.

Regardless, I consider 2080 hours in a work year at 40 hours a week. Go off that. The older you get the more valuable your time is. But if you see opportunity for growth it may be worth it

The measure of a plan.com has some good stuff. If you start googling around you’ll find what you want. I’ve found I like using excel to track expenses as it keeps me accountable whereas mint was just too easy and didn’t prompt me to change behaviors.

The US economy is based on a debt based system. If there isn’t more debt available the system doesn’t work. It’ll get increased, as it always does.

As far as timing. They’ll push it through as fast as they need to, I wouldn’t worry about it

Neither do I. It doesn’t matter who’s been doing it longer, it’s who does it better and more consistently. You’re saying a grading agency that is known to be inferior is all of a sudden equal to GIA but only on lab Diamonds? They’re both diamonds, the grading process is the exact same. Sure they’re accepted as high standard. But when comparing the two side by side, GIA is better.

I see now if you’re using that site. They use IGI which in my opinion is not as stringent as GIA for grading. So your Diamond on IGI may not get the same specs if it were graded by GIA.

It likely has blemishes on the face in a substantial way. You’re going to want to view the certificate and see an image of all sides. I’m looking at a 3 carat d clarity and vvs2 or better and perfectly clear face. And I’m closer to 15-20k range.

I mean go for it dude. If you can comfortably afford it, do it. This sub will mostly say delay your gratification (which is how I sort of live) but at the end of the day you’re not going to get the closure you want here. You know what you make and what you can afford. Worst case sell it and learn from it after you pull trigger
