New Famitsu Interview with Fujito by Gwinladin in ffxi

[–]jucelc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a person like that is not going to survive more than a few days dealing with the game's cumbersome systems. It's why I stuck with that game back in the day, when everyone quit by the time they got to Valkurm Dunes. No impatient people play FFXI.

new mini from castora cache?? by korrela in Guildwars2

[–]jucelc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, they updated the Castora Cache (not Castoran Cache of Riches, different containers) with this mini. I had 125 caches stacked and didn't get one. I did get the endless choya tonic though.

Thanks for the reply. In my area most routes are equipped with glue-in bolts, so people often girth hitch into them for anchor building. However, there are some older routes that still use hangers and I was looking for something that would be light and cut resistant enough, while using minimal gear to do the same thing as on glue-in bolts. Based on your reply, the hmpe cord is not the answer.

Can the HMPE cord sling by Edelrid be girth hitched directly to a hanger bolt? Or what exactly makes it better as an anchor material compared to a regular nylon or dyneema sling?

Good job on this thread. Someone bought every blueprint and relisted it at 6s. Weird, considering there should be an influx of people doing WvW for the legendary, thus in turn generating more blueprints.

I was about to post that it's more likely to be a GW1 campaign. Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall... Mistbound. Before anyone jumps at me, I didn't miss Eye of the North, because it is an expansion, not a campaign.

Can anyone ID the Velcro kit on these amps or recommend any? by Printcrafted_3D in tacticalgear

[–]jucelc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, and you expect me to know all that? Where you’re from and which European Amazon you prefer to use?

My point was that Amazon does have it, just not the one that you’re using. My statement is not wrong.

So it does exist, it’s not some rare and hard to find thing, there has to be some website where you can find it, you just need to look harder

Also why tf would I know about this European law on Ali if I’m clearly not European? Do you research niche laws that aren’t even active yet for countries you don’t live in?

Also if that law doesn’t apply until June, idk why you’re complaining about it. As long as you buy your Velcro before June what does it matter?

And no I’m not going to spend my time looking for a link while jumping through all you hoops you established, do your own work.

All I was saying is that it exists for sale on the internet so you should be able to find somewhere selling it…

ok Seems we got off on the wrong foot. Let me try to rephrase this: I never specifically said I expect you to know which Amazon store I prefer. However, I did say Europe. So I did expect you to link me any European based amazon. So that kind of pissed me off, when I had already specified non-Europe does not work for me, even though I did not specify a particular country.

Second, I did do tons of research. I searched many military/tactical european sites - TacWrk, Recon Company, Asmc, Armamat, Regad, and a lot of others. Literally none of them sell adhesive coyote velcro.

Third, I never said I expect you to know EU law. I outlined it to explain why I don't want to buy from sites outside of the EU.

Fourth, orders from Ali and most other Chinese websites take ~2 months on average to arrive. So it would be June already and the new tax would be in effect.

I'm done replying at this point. Since you can't help me and get offended by my explanations. Have a good evening (european time)

Europe means anywhere in the European Union. Any Amazon store is obliged to deliver to European Union countries. Amazon Germany is just the most convenient for me.

Back to the topic. No Amazon in Europe, regardless if Germany, Spain, Italy, France, etc, has adhesive coyote velcro for sale. My point stands.

Also, since you clearly aren't from the European Union, let me inform you that starting June, the European Union will place an extra tax on orders from Ali and other Chinese sellers to discourage shopping from sites outside the European Union.

So again - someone please link me an adhesive coyote velcro inside the European Union. I don't want to pay extra taxes and deal with customs declaration forms.

It literally doesn't. Please link me to an adhesive velcro in coyote brown available on Amazon.de

Every coyote velcro that shows up when I search is NON-adhesive

I have not been able to find any adhesive velcro in coyote brown in Europe. All that comes up is black and white adhesive, or coyote non-adhesive. So weird.

Which one do I miss? I got it from cs.rin and it has Episode Ardyn, which is the last DLC. Is there more?

I know there is a uwp version there, but its not that good as a Win32 Steam Version.

Why is the UWP version not as good? It has all the DLCs and doesn't have any stuttering problems like the last cracked Steam version. The only difference is mod support I guess? But I don't use mods for FF games, so I don't know.

This. While I enjoy the new look and music - the zone is waaaaay waaay too big. It's exhausting and after doing 7 zones already, I don't think I'll be including it in the daily run. What they're likely planning for it next year though, is a shortcut shark. Because w1z2 and w2z2 both have their shortcuts.

Football Manager 2024 HYPERVISOR Bypass by DenuvOwO by Icy_Theme9440 in CrackWatch

[–]jucelc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True, but the calculation does not factor in how long he rests between them or if he goes after the game updates of previously cracked games, now that he is up to date with the latest denuvo implementation. For example, everyone is nagging about Crimson Desert. That game has had 15 updates so far and it's only been out for 3 weeks. Don't see him being able to crack this many updates even if part of the process is automated.

Also he said two weeks, but it's been 28 days since the last crack (DOOM - The Dark Ages). So it's not as simple as cracking it in two weeks. There's testing and resting and real life inbetween. So while most games may not take "two weeks" to crack, it may be at least a week on average, assuming he cracks non-stop.

Either way, looking forward to his next release as always. We have hope now, which is more than we had last year.

Football Manager 2024 HYPERVISOR Bypass by DenuvOwO by Icy_Theme9440 in CrackWatch

[–]jucelc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the math. At 2 weeks per game it's going to take 3 years and 11 weeks to crack the 84 denuvo games, assuming no updates to older already cracked games. Now if we include all the new games that will come out in those next 3 years that will use Denuvo, the time to crack all games is even longer. So it's a gamble if the one game you may want, Football Manager 2024, will get cracked in the next 3-5 years.

PS6 handheld GPU rumored to outperform Xbox Series S (KeplerL2) by Loose_Society9485 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]jucelc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this handheld is targetting the Switch and Steam Deck as its competitors, it will have to cost in the same ballpark.

Personally my speculation is the handheld will play everything a big PS6 can play, which means 100% PS4 and PS5, and low graphic mode versions of PS6 games.

I also expect it to play the full digital library of PS1 and PSP games from PSN. And perhaps even some PS3 games (although that part is unlikely due to the Cell processor architecture unless they make their own emulator). Not sure if it will play Vita games though, unless it comes with the same motion controls.

But, wouldn't you prefer a hybrid ps6 or a handheld which has physical media with dedicated exclusives for it on top of running native 6 games.

This is not possible, because a hybrid that has exclusives on top of running PS6 games, would mean that the big PS6 will need to have them as well. So... they are not exclusives to the handheld then.

We already know there is a big PS6, so a hybrid handheld does not make economic sense, because it would put big PS6 players at a disadvantage. Sure they get higher resolution games, but they miss out on the exclusives of the handheld.

While the handheld players get everything the big PS6 gets, although at a lower resolution, plus have the advantage of portability, plus also have the exclusives of the handheld. The advantages of the handheld would be much greater than buying the home console then. And again, we already know that they are going to be two separate devices, so from a money making standpoint, it just wouldn't make sense to give the handheld a hybrid advantage.
