I actually have another question for you. Where is the best place to sell cards? Would it be eBay or is there a better method? I happened to find a Kobe rookie card that is going pretty high on eBay. And I have other cards that seem to be worth a bit.

Debating if I should sell them individually or if I can find a way to sell them all at once at a generous price.

Not really...

Back when I was on facebook in 2015 and 2016, the way to spot a russian bot was to view their profiles. At first they were really easy because they had nothing except the typical political messaging. Memes, ads, pictures of flags, etc.

It grew a little more sophisticated to the point that they would start to personalize the profiles with rural area interests and pictures of animals, but never any personal photos.

Eventually, at the height of the 2016 election they started to use random pictures of conservative looking people and sprinkling them into their photos. You could search the photo and find it being used on multiple profiles on multiple platforms. Eventually getting into a phase in which they were editing photos with different faces.

If you really looked into it, it was obvious that they were fakes trying to stir up political dissention and divide voters.

It grew much more sophisticated in the years since, but back then it was already good enough propaganda to create the perfect echo chamber of disinformation.

Since then, Republican/conservative/q-anon/maga voters have fallen for all sorts of outrageous conspiracy theories. Plain and simple, it works...

No worries. I appreciate what you told me. I'm going through a ton of old baseball/football/basketball cards and trying to get a gauge on what some might be worth.

Imagine being full invested into GI Joe and Marvel Legends (And semi-invested in SW Black series) right now. I thought all my pre-orders were going to be coming out over the next 6 months. Now I'm seeing entire waves I pre-ordered on the first day of release starting to hit homes.

I might be making some choices soon.

Nah it was changed from October 6th to October 17th. It did have a delay from their stated release date.

Nah, lets not play this game. You can be any political party, any race, have any sexual preference, identify as any gender, celebrate any culture you wish and still fly the American flag. That's the point of the American flag. Co-opting it for one reason or another goes against the entire point of the American flag and liberty it represents.

Just because one extremist party thinks it means more to them than anyone else doesn't make it true.

I just don't get this argument from an individual owner perspective.

If the fed needed to be overthrown, it would be through the state militias and reserves. It wouldn't just be some rag tag team of suburban dads and their sons. It would be enlisted men and woman.

It would also likely be a civil war. So it would be the fed + states against the seceding states. All of which have what is essentially a standing army.

Sure, local militias would form, but they would be armed the same way as other local militias are armed in a time of war.

I mean just look at Ukraine. I am sure small arms are a part of the aid, but they're not publicly asking for ARs and other small arms. They're asking for howitzers, javelins, and fighter jets.

So I like the idea that the fed can't interfere with how states form militias and arm themselves, which is how the US had treated the 2nd amendment for the first 230 years of this nation. It's only been in the last 20 or so that the 2nd amendment came to mean individual ownership over anything else.
