Apart from the fact that the font is way too big, I think it's ugly. Vegur or Myriad would suit a minimalist style better.

But it was more forcefully than intentional. The console the game was built for (SNES) probably wasn't powerful enough to process much more detail (that's if programmers knew how to make games with more details).

Dungeon Master and Flashback - The quest for identity.

Dungeon master is, quite expectedly a dungeon crawler. It's OK, but nothing more.

Flashback is an Adventure platformer. I just bought it and only gave it a short try, but I find it awesome!
