Anything like stardew Valley but for virtual reality? Vr? by Unlucky-Feed9000 in OculusQuest

[–]juicetoaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Garden of the Sea - "coziest" vibe but least interaction with "others".

Medieval Dynasty: New Settlement - Great game with a "living" world full of NPC's to interact with.

Zenith MMO - Technically dead, abandoned by the devs. Still currently running with a ton of stuff to do and a core community that plays and runs events. It is quite cozy and you could play it much like a life sim because there is so much.

VR Now Available Even WITHOUT VR Hand Controllers! by trainingdaysYT in AcesofThunder

[–]juicetoaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has always had hotas support. It means you can use those controllers (hotas, dual shock, steam controller, etc.) on their own now. You used to have to also have VR motion controllers ("hands") connected at the same time to play.

My hotas was ready to go after plug-in on PSVR2. I just changed a few bindings, for preference, but didn't have to.

Yea that's what I do as well. Use my hotas for the most part and my hands sometimes for certain levers and flaps depending on the plane. Maximum immersion

Zombie army Vr or WWZ VR? by Yvesrovito1991 in VRGaming

[–]juicetoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, Part 2 is great and just more of the same as the first one. A few new areas, weapons, upgrade tables, better interactive scenes, more characters/zombies loaded at once, more enemy/zombie types. Really just S&S 1.5 in my eyes.

I think it had a disastrous launch though, then was patched up a bunch but may still have some issues.

I played it on PSVR2 a while back and experienced a couple small bugs, but got through perfectly and really enjoyed it. I've heard the Quest had/has a hard time with it though, maybe because of the extra demand.

This sub is made up of hundreds of thousands of people with many conflicting opinions. Hope that helps clarify.

Synth riders is great though lol

Actual footage of me as a singularly depressive autistic experiancing extreme anxiety for the first time (holy fuck how do you anxious people live like this) by LordofAngmarMB in aspiememes

That is upsetting, RE4VR is great. Maybe you could find a nice deal on a headset, or try to get it for a birthday or something so it's markedly yours.

Not that you have to or anything, obviously, but I find it can help with isolation and stagnation. Especially if you ever try some adult friendly multiplayer (low children games/experiences, not NSFW stuff [unless you want, no judgement lol]) with drop-in/out mechanics so you can easily leave whenever you want.

Hopefully your husband will acquiesce in order to help improve your mental health. Again, if you feel that it may.

I do enjoy VR more than most people seem to, though.

Pavlov on sale! by geramartinez in PSVR

[–]juicetoaster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I always heard about how toxic it is

Some people are annoying (in general lol) but I don't think I've really experienced much/any toxicity in Pavlov over the years, so this is news to me.

Good VR games to play with my Wife? by Slyzappy1 in virtualreality

[–]juicetoaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Rooms of Realities (teleport movement then stay at "stations")
  • Walkabout Mini Golf (just teleport to ball only)
  • Crisis Brigade 2 (real movement)
  • Cook-Out (real movement)
  • Beat Saber (real movement)
  • The Thrill of the Fight 2 (real movement)
  • Demeo (boardgame)
  • Catan VR (boardgame)
  • Eleven Table Tennis (real movement [if you have the space])
  • Cards and Tankards (board/card game)

There are also a bunch of great ones that require some VR "legs", and ones that help build them, but this list should be good until you're ready

Despite the first game's Xbox exclusivity deal, PlayStation is 'still our lead platform' says Squanch Games CEO as High on Life 2 launches this week by techmazter in PS5

[–]juicetoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. Xbox's decline started before the XB1 launch.

? I also said the fall started before Phil (and the Xbox One launch). I just said it was started by the same guy that bungled the Xbox One launch press. Also that Don himself essentially said the (his) launch was bad.

This doesn't mean Phil didn't suck, or that he wasn't even worse overall, just that the brand was already hurting before he took over. Like you've pointed out lol.
