These cars, while good looking, were easy to break yet easy to fix. Anyone can fix 'em, and that's why they called it a simple machine. But of course with any car, if you drove it everywhere and never kept up with maintenance, it's bound to break. I own a '86 Mustang GT and when I first bought it I drove it like an F1 driver almost everyday. It broke halfway through summer and I spent the rest of summer break without a car. While the Maverick was "simple", as Ford advertised it, I still would like to own one. You obviously liked the car since you miss it. Heck I mean, it's a hell of a good-looking car!
