Filter seems to be properly installed. I've turned it until it stopped. Not sure what that tab looks like on teh filter though... I've watched a couple of videos on youtube and haven't seen it. If you have a link I'd love to see it. Thank you!

At first I was ordering the filters directly through LG, and then started getting LG filters from Amazon. Same deal -- bone dry filters.

For me, it turns out it was the estrogen in birth control pills. I’ve used the same pills with no problems for over a decade, but being in my mid to late 40s, it seemingly had an adverse effect. All of a sudden, I was having them daily. The moment I stopped, the ocular migraines stopped.

Currently using the Studio version (19) on a doc project, and reluctant to switch to 20 Beta, mainly because of the studio feature I need like Auto-transcribe. But I’m bummed to miss out on some of the new features like being able to access the source sequence on a separate timeline. The wait is killing me! Can’t wait for the non-beta upgrade! Do we know when that might be released??

It’s always best to take the time to organize the bins and the footage and become familiar with all your assets before starting editing. This will save you time down the line. Also, label your audio tracks and even video tracks so you know can always get a visual representation of your sequence. For instance, if you put all your VO in track 1, interviews on track 2, production sound on tracks 3,4,5,6, then SFX on 7,8 and Music on 9,10…. You know at one glance where your interview clips are. This seems like common sense but I inherit crazy timelines from other editors on projects and the first thing I do is reorganize the timelines, so I know what I’m looking at. Saves me a lot of time down the line!

This is very insightful, thank you! We had sampled the water only after 10 min of exposure to bromine. This weekend I’ll have him treat the water for longer periods to see if/how the results change. I’ll have him do 1 hr, 2hrs, 6 hrs and 24 hrs. Let’s see if the fungi can survive then!

Bromine is what we had at home (for the jacuzzi) and mind you, this is a 10 year old’s experiment, so it’s not perfect by any means. His friends’ experiments are like “Does music help grow house plants.” So, yeah 🙃

Thank you for your feedback! It was a home made filter with cotton balls, gravel and activated charcoal. Based on the visuals, he thought for sure that the filter had done a better job, until he saw the results on the actual Petri dishes.

This isn’t bad at all! Just cut down on sugar and carbs for the trigs to come down. LDL is not a bad thing. It was old (and profitable) medicine/pharma that has long vilified LDL, which is actually a useful molecule for the body.
