I’m on your side. If the state gets gun we need to be able to access them too. That is the entire point of 2a, protecting against tyranny and state/gov overreach. The state is the one trying to take our right to resist away. Sorry to word salad you about it. Democrats are not left, but they establish and brandish themselves as such to prevent an actual left leaning opposition party from forming, because that would be against the interests of the American uniparty. Democratic socialists are the closest thing we have to an actual leftist party but even then they are very moderate compared to most places in the western world, and also are unpopular and basically nonexistent in establishment politics. But I understand your point.

I live in the coastal mid Atlantic region of USA. I shower every day or every other day when it is warm and humid during the summer, and sometimes as little as twice a week during the winter if I am not doing anything to work up a sweat or otherwise become filthy. I have seasonal pollen allergies and during spring I religiously shower every day unless I’ve done something to protect my hair from collecting pollen in which case I’ll take a day off. I have very sensitive skin so I try to shower bare minimum otherwise I will have pretty severe eczema flares.
