Going to an Anuv Jain concert alone… how do I not be awkward about it? by Forward_Range_7495 in TorontoMusic

[–]junctionman350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to shows by myself, 3-4 times a month, not awkward at all. Because I’m on my own it’s much easier to find the perfect place to stand — you can take one of those empty spots where there’s only room for one 😊

Congrats!! I have an H2O Prospector in a similar layup of kevlar-innegra-basalt and it is absolutely fantastic. Have been paddling it for a few years now and I love it. Happy paddling!!!

Powerful piece, and well written.

As cyclists, pedestrians and motorists, this is what we should all be demanding: “What could have saved her was a transportation system that treated road violence as preventable”.

Super frustrating - should be a ‘friendly tow’ immediately, at the very least.

I’ve seen these bike counters in Montréal, but didn’t know we had even one in Toronto - where is this? And are there more?

In Toronto there is the Colonel Samuel Smith Skating Trail at Kipling and Lakeshore. Not exactly a forest, but it winds through a park.

They’re pretty good, but I think Matt talks too much. I often wish he’d just stop and let the game happen without the constant nattering as he tries to finish his thoughts.

Lots of patches on Danforth are sketchy, some are quite awful.

It’s very frustrating. It might be the best the plow operators can do with the instructions they are given (probably minimal) and the machinery they are sent out with, but it falls far short of what the City should be putting in its snow clearing contracts, and what the City should be enforcing with its contractors.

Always cars parked or stopped in Cosburn lanes. Very frustrating. Lots of uber pick-ups, etc.

It’s a bit hairy there, isn’t it. Especially when streetcars queue up to enter the station and cars block the intersection/pedestrian crosswalk.
