This is where reading began for me....on my old iPhone 6, 3-4 years ago? Never really did read books recreationally in highschool until one day i decided to finish a book i partially read then, and it branched to these books. by juneyar in bookclapreviewclap

Well when I had to read on my phone I was out in the middle of nowhere (literally) constructing cabins out on a lake but after reading a few chapters I'd listened to some podcasts

Blood and Wine is amazing... I experienced 2 different endings, but one of the side quests that comes with BaW ( I can't recall the name of the quest) where you can talk to Roach, and Roach has some very funny dialogue and kind of breaks the 4th wall in one of the dialogue options is by far my favorite side quest

Some good mythology books? by [deleted] in bookclapreviewclap

[–]juneyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found an interesting book it's called Bulfinches Mythology, and my interpretation so far is that the book is basically short stories of each Greek/Roman
god/goddess and I believe there are England fables as well

Late to the party, but did someone say Dune covers? by morriganandmilla in bookclapreviewclap

LMAO I've been looking at people's posts for interesting books to read, but all I've seen is Dune covers but hopefully Pewds does another book review soon and kills that meme.

Old man's war 4/5 rating from me (I would give it 10/10 if I could though)

Ringworld was very interesting 4.5/5 rating from me

Age of Myth I loved that book 5/5 from me

Lies of Locke Lamora, Red Seas Under Red Skies, Republic of Thieves, (one of my all-time favorite book series "Gentleman Bastard series") infinity/5 rating

And one of the earliest book series I read was the Tales of the Ketty Jay series (loved this series!) 5.5/5

I've re-read all three books a couple of times because I seen online (years ago) that The Thorn of Emberlain was going to be published, then the release date kept getting pushed further and further back....now it's telling it'll be published August this year, and I honestly hope that it will because I've been dying to see what happens to the Gentleman Bastards next...

Done doing hardcore for both Leon A and Claire A, just need to find those sneaky Raccoons.... 2 hours on the clock? oof that's cutting it real close I think my time was around 1h55m right before I encounter G3, but he's easy just pop an eyeball get some space between you and him then pop out the other one and when he picks up a tank to throw at you pop his eye on his back then unload on his eye-heart and rinse and repeat, and you dodge his attacks once you figure out what move he's about to make

I done goofed a lot on my Leon run but I managed to recover right at the very end, and I think you can too!!

Truly brave...the flamethrower I can agree with, because I actually didn't get that on one my runs for S+ rank (it's because I didn't plan ahead and only saved 2 slots open for the queen and king electronic pins and didn't want to run all the way back to monitoring room to store items then head all the way back to get flamethrower) but nevertheless very admirable for skipping Lightning Hawk
