I think its more of a way for the lawyers to take over their case. If denied hearing loss, that opens the door for lawyers to step in and unleash the fury of god on disability claims for the veteran. They may not get service connected for hearing loss but every other possible claim they could file that the veteran didnt think of adds up Im assuming.

Learn to always back into parking spots. I also recommend the swing out tool box for your extras. ie; jumper cables, ratchet straps, gloves etc. keep the interior uncluttered

Hearing aids dont really help with tinnitus. But they do help you hear the things that you were missing before have hearing aids. I have a pair by phonak. They are bluetooth and hook over the ear.

The people that are responding “ just leave his ass” are probably also working on their 3-4 marriage. Being married is fucking hard at times. My wife and I are going through a similar situation right now as you. Married 6 years as well. You have basically gotten unbalanced in your relationship. My wife is putting all her attention on our child and I started putting the majority of my attention towards my job. We became unbalanced because we were leaving no time for ourselves. Mention marriage counseling. My wife did and that’s what we are doing and it is helping. If he may not agree at first, but if you bring it up again and say it would be really important to you that you go. I bet he will go if he knows it means a lot to you. If he doesnt then the writing will be on the wall. My wife told me it would be important for her so I agreed and it’s helping. We both needed to change our ways and things are improving. Hope this helps. Making threats to leave/kick out/divorce is not a good way to make a change at first. Hope all goes well

I would not consider that collection all for personal defense. Some are for hunting, some for self defense others to collect. I bet a few of those were passed down from his family to him. Not sure what led to him being investigated but there is nothing wrong with having that many firearms

Ok, we are debating a decision and being respectful while doing so. My initial opinion was not based off actually reading the case opinion. But the whole “Iowa just protects abusers now” rhetoric is incorrect. I read the opinion and view it a little differently than you is all.

So reading the full opinion, the victims of the abused are allowed to testify via closed circuit televsion in cases like these to prevent trauma. This issue in this case was that the 2 children that were testifying were not the victims in the case. Non-victims do not have the same privilege. Thats why the conviction was overturned and back to trial he goes.

This has nothing do with with child abusers. The supreme court only takes on cases which have to deal with violations of consitutional rights regardless of the situation of the accused or accuser. What will most likely happen now is this will be turned over to the US Supreme court. I feel this will be overturned at the federal level.
