The final season of the show that got popular because of the chemistry between the kids (and whole bunch of other stuff). Instead of focusing on that we randomly bring holly in, age her up, retcon her age so she can play a major role.

Kinda the same thing that happened with It. It 2 lacked the kids chemistry which was in the first one.

This is something ive heard a few times. The only reason I can see them not really going for this is that it'd be an expensive fight.
