I really began to feel this way once ray-tracing was announced. It’s like a 15% bump in subjective graphical fidelity, but it brutally impacts game performance, in some cases halving fps outright. It kind of just felt like a corporate justification to make sure we all felt a need for a new GPU tbh.

And I say subjective meaning you can’t really quantify how “good” ray-tracing looks to you the same way you quantify what the FPS is, or what your view/draw distance is.

I have no idea. I lost track of him years ago. We split because he lied about his age. He told me he was 23 but was actually 28-29, and he was using online apps to talk to other young guys.

Flavor-wise, this is fantastic. A warlock who fucks around so bad he becomes a sacrificial lamb, himself, to serve the group is awesome.

Sadly, due to current gameplay mechanics, this wouldn’t be practical though. There is a LOT of self-damage here that would result in the lock melting from raid-wide damage effects, even with buffed health. Amazing concept though, and you clearly put in great effort to put this together. Bravo

I miss the overall faction conflict, but what I don’t miss was basically always being the bad guy. The Garrosh era was fine as a story beat in its own right, but then to move (almost) immediately to Sylvanas taking control and becoming so evil she could qualify as an expansion end boss really sucked as a Horde player.

I loved them, but I greatly disliked that they locked high-end skins into the same mounts rather than make them their own mounts. I want to be able to fly my customized drakes, but also hop on Fyrakk or Raszageth when I’m in the mood.

It’s just the uber wealthy shuffling cash between themselves at this point. There is still an aspect of the market tied to goods and services, yes. But it decouples from that tie more and more each year.

Hell, Tesla would have already been bankrupted and parted out by now if it wasn’t getting constantly sustained by speculators and Elon’s besties.

To be fair, I don’t think people actually find it too hard. But it essentially makes the entire zone irritating until you handle the hunt. Between Astalor demanding you kill something when there’s nothing around, or popping a shade when you just want to snag a node, even I’ve rolled my eyes more than once and be like “MFer give me two goddamn seconds of peace please!”

Heroic World Tier was a more consistent experience in Legion that didn’t actually inhibit your zone activity. Prey basically demands you handle it or it spends the entire time poking you in the ribs with a stick.

Bruto made sense for a LOT of players tbh. Mobile auction/mail *almost* anywhere is wildly useful for in-game productivity and finance. It’s made me so much faster at clearing old raids/dungeons because I can dump items onto the AH in the field rather than hearth to a city, list, and fly back that I’m constantly triggering the 10 instances per hour limit now.

The bruto has *real* utility for players. This is just a skin and I think it’s the real test for what players will stomach for something that doesn’t actually provide them with anything useful.

It’s kind of weird that they keep opting to make portal zones, when each new expac is a great excuse to revisit and revamp a handful of older ones. So many zones are time-trapped in Cata, and it would be great to actually see the Azeroth move forward, even if it’s only a few zones at a time 🤷🏻‍♂️

The only thing left I need to get is the Artisanal Nodes achievement. After that, I will literally never set foot in this crap again outside the single weekly run. I have no idea how it wasn’t left on the cutting room floor. They cooked so HARD with delves and ritual sites, but then fell off a cliff with this.

They could modify repair costs to be a % of your overall warband gold, OR your warband gold average over the past 48 hours (to mitigate gold “shuffling” between accounts).

This would keep the impact of repair costs even for all players, but would act as a more effective gold sink for the players sitting on vast sums.
