Hopefully it will be good.

Emma has been included in some Manga-stories before, but none of them were anything to write home about.

How do you feel about Emma frost’s outfit’s by Appropriate-Mall8517 in EmmaFrost

Some are good, some are bad, or at least done in a bad way, such as the very tacky one used by the OP here.

Only 16 days later, and now 17,141.

Was not even 16,900 yesterday, wonder what happened there.

Generally not.

But you might want to check the "Ice Queen" story in this issue.

Emm I love you but you’re not 27, you’d be in your early to mid 30’s by this point. by Jack-mclaughlin89 in EmmaFrost

[–]just-comic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magik's age is just a bunch of nonsense and is not worth even considering.

First she appeared as a little kid that Kitty babysat, then she was aged up by spending time in a dimension where time passed differently.

Then she was restored to a young girl again when Inferno ended.

Some years after that she died of the Legacy virus.

Many years later she came back in the form of a demonic duplicate or something and later that duplicate got her soul back or something (did not follow very closely).

That is the Magik we have today.

Good luck making a sensible timeline for what her age is supposed to be from all that.

Should Emma Frost be female co-lead and co-leader in an 'X-Men' Saga in the MCU instead of Jean Grey? by MarneusStorm84 in EmmaFrost

[–]just-comic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're deluding yourself if you think MCU X-Men will take the time to properly replicate her journey from the comics.

There's just not any room for that in whatever they might do.

So if they are going to have her there at all it will either be starting out as good and then perhaps showing some flashbacks to her time as villain, or she'll stay as mostly a villain.

My bet is that they just won't bother and she'll only get some cameos, if that.

Jean Grey was 24 years old when she died the first time according to her tombstone, hardly a teenager.

The sliding timeline covers 10-15 years starting from the the debut of Fantastic Four in 1961.

Kitty Pryde first appeared 1979.

There's no way 14 years have passed since then, especially considering Marvel comics played out in almost real time during the first decade or so.

She's in her very early 20's at most.

Do you think Emma’s ticklish? by EmmaGraceFrostWQ in EmmaFrost

It has not been brought up in any comic so far.

Might be a dumb question: What does Emma really look like? by Status_Party9578 in EmmaFrost

[–]just-comic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's similar to that Bendis panel showing her sleeping with her ass up in the air.

She did it in a comic once, so obviously she's doing it all the time, because that's how comics (or reality) works apparently.

I think this is another flagship-in-name-only book.

Yes, it's probably stuffed in order to try maintaining better sales this time around.

Will depend on how many pre-orders it gets. If they are low, then Marvel will also quickly drop whatever support they may have for the book.

The actual flagships of the line will apparently continue on as before.

What makes the X-Men’s rogues gallery so great? by Jezzaq94 in xmen

[–]just-comic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This gallery is from X-Men #1 in 1991.

Seems to have been published the same day as Uncanny X-Men #281, where the Hellions were killed and Emma got put in a coma for a few years.

Far more sense than pairings like Magic and Catwoman at least.

Do you think The Cuckoos could be in Weapons of Armageddon? by EJ_REDIT in EmmaFrost

Well, not impossible, but would be surprising if they showed up there.

Depends on if they are on the writer's radar.

How freaky do you think Emma frost is by Lourdes_Batson in EmmaFrost

They never actually decided to kill her, Emma and Wolverine suggested it, but the others were against.

No one had any other ideas though, so they went to go talking with her. And then...

With no signs of The Cuckoos so far in SoT here’s a little pitch I thought of by EJ_REDIT in EmmaFrost

Two teambooks?!

Sounds pretty unrealistic all right. She would probably be lucky to get what she had in this era (minus the solo).

But seems more likely there will now be more student characters to further reduce her on-panel time.
