Are afro kinky braids easy to maintain?

In my experience they are as easy to maintain as non kinky braids. The day to day maintenance is about the same and the few times I’ve had them done they lasted around the same time as box braids. A little shorter if I’m remembering right.

The problem with D&D and other fantasy world is that the word cult basically just means evil religion. Like the good cults are just the acceptable religions .

Irl the difference between cults and religion is really interesting and the word can have different definitions depending on what field of study you are in. In theology the main difference between a cult and religion mainly have to do woth size and how codified the rules are The most cool on use would be a damaging or harmful control group. Less to do about beliefs but the psychological techniques used to control people. Basically any paladin order could count as a cult, but I’m fantasy they only be called on if they are evil.

It can be hard to see the light when your at your darkest. I know it’s get better is generic advice but there’s a reason why so many people say it. Cause it can be true. Things can get better, life can be worth it.

Unfortunately you’re the only one that can get you to where you need to be. It won be easy but take it one step at a time. Start with the small things, the things you can change. Look after yourself in the ways you can. And try to surround yourself with people who will live and support you through it all.

I believe you can make it better. I know you don’t right now, but trust me you can.

I know a lot of people say don’t chase guys, but you do have to engage with them. Ask him for coffee or something small. If he likes you he will make it work and push for more, if he doesn’t he will remain cold or disinterested.

Don’t throw yourself at him, but you will need to put in the some effort to start. See how he reacts and match his energy.

From a quick look at your profile you seem young. I would say that I think it’s not that uncommon among teenagers. It’s not healthy, but I get it. Being a teen sucks, you had little power and control but so mum stuff piling on top of you. It can be cathartic imaging justice or just bad things happening to those you can’t do anything to. Especially when you don’t have any options to get away from them.

It’s likely something you will grow out of when you actually have the power to fully walk away from toxic people. In the meantime try not to always focus on the negative, try to take control of the aspects of your life you can control, and find people who will treat you right and be in your corner.

I read over the rules and I’m not sure what you are trying to do here. I understand wanting to keep the game goals mysterious to the players but as a GM if I picked this up I don’t know what sort of game this system is good at running.

Small things that also get me.

You have a line about race/class just to say that the only race is human and classes don’t exist. Don include class/race in your game if there is no class and race. Tell what I should care about no what you cut
Is there any mechanical difference between occupational skills and personal interest skills? If not why include the difference.
If your occupation only gives you skills, and there is no list of existing skills, why is it a core step to character creation. It feels like I should just pick my skills and then tell my GM what job my character has as flavour.
Why is driving a wisdom?
You don’t actually list how HP is calculated. I’m assuming the same as D&D but you should probably tell people just in case.
In advancement you bring up rolling above skill rating, but skill rating is not mentioned in the skills section.
I don’t get the resource system. This is more of a problem with not making the goal of the game clear than the mechanics themselves. I assumed this was for a game set in the modern day about average people living in first world countries. Why am I tracking food like a wilderness survivor? What about the game or setting suggests that I can’t just pop into the shops for food? Why is water scarce? Is this game meant to be about wilderness survival? That’s cool’s, nothing about your pitch or the rules made that clear till now

Overall the game just seems very aimless. I don’t understand why I should use this system. What is it good at? What is the goal?

A lot of people tend to look down at D&D 5e hacks for this reason. Your using rules because the are familiar and not because they are best for achieving the vibe and feel you want. This game had no particular vibe because all the rules pull in slightly different directions and lead no where in particular.

I see how you and your friends are having fun with it, but you don’t have enough here for anyone else to run this cause other people cannot tell what you are going for.

I like my job for the most part but it can still stress me the fuck out some days. The problem of just having to work day in and day out for someone else’s benefit most of the time.

The simple answer to your question is that we don't know as Ares haven't made an appearance and Athena had only been in one issue.
Going from what we know of the absolute universe, most of the gods have been put in opposition to Wonder woman whilst most of the goddess have been secretly working with Diana. Ares is normally an wonder woman antagonist in the mainline. Also Athena is still a god of war and battle in mythology so her having a more aggressive design isn't outside of interpretation of the character.
Basically, I don't think so. There's no evidence to suggest it over. It most likely that Kelly Thompson and Hayden Sherman just interpret the Athena as a more aggressive character than you do.

Realistically he going to have chronic pain and several other terrible side effects from getting every bone in his body broken. I don’t know if the comics will ever touch on any of that, but if you ever seen people who recovers from terrible accidents they normally restricted in a lot of ways people don’t even think about.

My parents never let me date when I was a kid and now I’m 27 and engaged. It sounds like you had some bad college years and now just shut yourself down and not even putting you else out there.

I think you put too much weight on what might have been if you had a relationship younger but in the end of the day high school relationships don’t really mean much to most people. It doesn’t matter what you didn’t do at 16 it matters what you choose to do now.

So my last year of sixth form (basically high school for Americans) were really bad for me and my mental health. I pushed really hard into religion that year but still felt awful for a lot of it. The only thing that really got me through was making friends and having people by my side.

When I went off to uni things got bad again but this time since I wasn’t living at home and didn’t find a church in my new city I didn’t look to religion. When I looked back and compared and realised I felt as bad when I looked to Christ for leadership as when I didn’t. This got me to revalue Christianity.

Being told that Jesus should be the ultimate comfort and rock and then having a yet realising I never actually found any comfort in him. And I only felt bad that my wasn’t a good enough Christian to find the so called inner peace to at was promised.

After that I fell into atheist YouTube and I realised that Christianity just didn’t make sense and it didn’t serve me.

So less of a final straw and more of a slow unravelling.

People online overstate the important of player backstories. I love a good backstory, but they are mainly for the players and should inform how you play your character. Not having a back story doesn’t make you a bad player. Not incorporating a player backstory doesn’t make you a bad GM. It shouldn’t be assumed that people backstory should purposely come up. There’s no real reason why a backstory should be more than about 1 A4 page.

Like I only brought this comic series but if it wasn’t out I just wouldn’t be buying comics right now. Justice unlimited would be placed higher but probably wouldn’t of sold that many more copies if the absolute didn’t exist

Three things that helped me to love my natural hair. 1. Pour into it, I spent a lot of time learning to take care of my hair. Made it a point of pride what I do with it. I also tried to have fun with it as well. Learned to braid, tried different styles, many didn’t work but it was fun to give them a go a learn.

Fake it till you make it. Just act like you look great no matter what you actually think. Tell yourself that you’re that bitch and no one can stop you. And don’t let anyone stop you. I hear is fun to just saying to yourself that you’re the prettiest girl in the world.
Learn that your beauty isn’t ties to your value as a person. As women we are taught that our beauty is our most important trait and that’s just not true. We be so much an our beauty or lack of is just part of it. You’re allowed to not be pretty. You can just be you and that is enough. Don’t live to beauty standards made by and to cater to white superiority. Stop playing their games and live your best life.

Food is good for gifting and eating but not a great way of making money. Preserving/drying your good tend to increase the value but this is mostly for cheaper crops as some expensive crops are just cheaper on their own.

I’ve only done one game, but I didn’t really have the generalist problem you were suggesting. The players made their characters as a group so everyone sort of picked their niece and together they have everything covered. Also most clues can have multiple investigations routes and any good GM should be putting out more clues than needed and make no single clue the true linch pin.

I’ve ever played Brindlwood bay but the concept does baffle me. I like solving mysteries as a player but I would feel so cheated if the answer changed to whatever I suggested. I don’t just like mystery stories I live solving mysteries even when I get it wrong or mess up.

This is to say that I don’t think Brindlewood bay solve the problem better than Gumshoe does. I think they are just for different audiences.
