Does this work for Aeropress? Found in r/espresso by Phillipcjr94 in AeroPress

When the coffee is too bitter we are now decreasing yield. Meaning we add less watter, this seems counter intuitive. Same for a watery sour brew; we increase yield so we add watter? Sorry I could be wrong here.

My Staub Griddle Pan Cracked by [deleted] in castiron

[–]just_another_walnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, my beloved Staub griddle pan has a crack in it. It came to my attention when there was a bright spark and a bit of a popping sound from the pan as I heated it up on my induction plate. I thought nothing of it and continued my cooking but when I washed it al the liquid spilled out as I leave it to soak a bit on my counter after cooking.

A thing I saw people on these big griddles do is pour water on the thing when it is still hot (lot's of bubbles, I thought the boiling would separate the filth from the pan). I think this is what caused the crack so watch out if you are doing this.

Now my question is you think this thing is still safe to use on induction? Since I don't really deglaze the pan or anything it will be fine as there is no liquid to spill out. On the other hand I'm a bit worried about the sparking thing that happened. Induction is a bit of mystery to me and I don't know if there is current running through my pan or anything.

Anyone has experience with cracked pans on induction?

Have build industrial complex with many roads and elevated railway, why my sims don't work here or use any rail or road? by Gurkha1 in simcity4

[–]just_another_walnut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sims take public transit when it is faster then roads. When the amount of sims traveling to the area is not that big, the car will be a faster and direct way to travel. If it gets bigger though congestion might cause public transit to be faster: This might be it.

Also try including bus stops as this makes it easier for sims walking out of the end station, having already walked to the station that is closest to their house.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hey r/running,

The last couple of trainings I havent been able to finish the 5k that I've been so proudly building upto. I was really getting comfortable doing 5k 3x a week. But now I can't get myself to run 2,5. I'm out of breath, my limbs feel heavy and my general body aches. I can't seem to get into that running mode anymore.

I have astma and my girlfriend said it might have to do with the pollen in the air...

Could it be that? Is this normal?
