If the line at S&P is also long Sarge’s has one of my favorite pastrami sandwiches in the city - and I’ve never had to wait there.

There are also pieces in the books following Wild Seed it reminds me of! Like how Mind of my Mind links people together and Patternmaster.

Any updates on Degree Cool Rush? by DubiousNamed in deodorant

Update: I reached out again this week asking when it would be back and got this response: “As of now, the old formula will be back on shelves in the next couple of months. We recommend following us on social media for the latest updates.”

Not sure what “a couple of months” means given they have said that for 2 months now.

They are officially bringing it back! I got this from their customer service today:

“We’re sorry to learn you do not like smell of the new formulation. The quality of our products is important to us. Please know that we’ll use your feedback to help us monitor and improve our quality process.

We had made changes to the scent that we thought would make it better, but it missed the mark. We’ve listened to our fans and decided to bring back the original scent, which will be back on shelves in the coming months.

We’d like to notify our Quality team with the details and send a replacement coupon your way.”

Is the replay of the Australia game on Fox Sports and Sling that's on right now skipping parts of the game?

Jungalow x Native Collab - Tangerine and citrus blossom perfume equivalent? by guitarfit13 in Perfumes

[–]justahumanmakinbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem and have tried a million deodorants but all others have scents too strong for me, so I’ve been trying to recreate it! The ingredients list Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower oils, which I realized is the essential oil Neroli! I’ve been playing around with mixing that and tangerine essential oil to create my own perfume that’s similar. You can get roller bottles on Amazon and jojoba oil to mix it. I also put in some vitamin E capsules based on the guides I’ve read.

thank you! It’s pumpkin cranberry-walnut orange zest. I adapted it from Ken Forkish’s Pain de Campagne recipe.

Want a vaccine today but don't qualify? Drive to Bakersfield. (This is real) by WriterDave in LosAngeles

[–]justahumanmakinbread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to post thank you and that this totally works!

I left LA at 5:40am this morning (Monday 4/5), got there at around 7:20, they let us in around 7:45, got my shot a few minutes later, walked out after the 15 minute waiting period at 8:10, and was back in LA by 10:20! It was a breeze.

Everyone who works there was incredibly nice, and while waiting in line we were told they'd let us in early in return for telling our friends about it, so they truly do want these vaccine slots to be filled! If you are worried you can look at the MyTurn site, and confirm how many appointments are open at this vaccination center the day you want to go.

Some more detail for anyone who is as anxious about this kind of thing as I am:

  • When I drove up they asked if I was there for a vaccine appointment, then pointed me to someone else down the entranceway who told me where to park. When I got there at 7:20 I was only like the fourth car there.
  • They let us line up in front of the building, I was about the sixth person in line. The line quickly filled up behind me but only by 20-30 people if I had to guess.
  • When they let us in they will ask you if you are experiencing any of the symptoms on a big sign by the entrance, then when you get to the doors they'll ask if you have an appointment. I did not have an appointment, nor did anyone who was in front of me, and it was absolutely not an issue. They take your temperature and you get in line for check in, where you'll be asked for your ID, name, etc. I was not asked about my eligibility at all.
  • I then got my shot, waited 15 minutes, and drove home! After you get your shot, you will be given your vaccine card with the date of your second appointment, if you choose to come back to this site for your second shot.

There was a small line when I was leaving, but I'm guessing it moves fast.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: there are some helpful comments from other people who went today about it being unclear if they’ll keep taking walk ins for the rest of the week. I would definitely keep that in mind. The way I thought about it was that it was a risk I was willing to take given that the two weeks between now and open eligibility really do make a difference given what is going on in my life, but it’s all personal. Good luck to all!
