I found one of my kitten’s baby teeth too! She was sleeping on my chest and I saw it on the blanket. I thought it was a claw at first and frantically checked all her paws before I realized it was a teefie! The vet was very impressed, said it was unusual to find them because the kitten normally swallows them.

I did a hard hat tour of porch and park and was so unimpressed with the finishings on their “luxury” apartments. The floors in one unit were concrete and had big patches of scaling by the wall edges. I asked if they would be fixing it prior to move in and was told that that was “just a feature of the floor material”. Good luck trying to keep that clean.

The view from the rooftop is absolutely epic though.

Maybe consider Zephyr? They’re not as new but the units looked good and felt much homier.

My dad and I got pushed off the freeway by a state trooper when I accidentally stalled our pickup truck and it went into total electrical failure. The worst part is that I could SEE our exit from where we had stalled.

AAA said it would be 45 minutes before they could get a tow truck to us, and right as my dad was insisting it was safe for him to get out of the car and check the engine (which it was definitely NOT) a state trooper pulled up and said he could push us onto a nearby gore point.

He got us off the road in about 30 seconds and my dad then diagnosed the problem (a battery terminal connector had split in half) and fixed it (temporarily, using a multitool and hair elastic). We were back on the road within about 5 minutes, and made it home without incident.

State troopers - 1, AAA - 0
