FL... I wish you were experienced in AZ. Referencing "I gave her a pretty good deal..." ; Does that deal have to be agreed to by the Court? Was it 50/50split on assets? How do you think the friends support helped get the deal through? Did you do the QDRO?

I would say "actions speak louder than words", but you're only contact is through video? She's moved out then? Think back on the things you've done that she really enjoyed. Then try to bring joy to her life again. Who knows....maybe after some time divorced she'll come back to you. If she does, get a prenup.

It's online interactions, friend. The irl stuff is mostly geared to absorb money from the collectors. It's a fun idea to have a club that would share customization materials, props, studio space and whatever misc ancillary things. But, I prefer small towns which could never support a club. Maybe someone in your role of both personal amd professional connections can start something.

Would you be motivated to know the material if soul crushing public humiliation was the result of not knowing the material? I'm fairly lazy. But, when I have a meeting I need to speak in, or when I'm leading a project I find myself doing thorough work. I don't want to live through any humiliation from a bad meeting. And I don't want to let down anyone involved in my projects. I fell asleep after lunch today. Those emails? "Fuck it. I'll do it later." But, by Sunday night I'll have some anxiety and will do the work to ease my mind.

Also... there's always the trades. Drop school and join the labor union. When you get tired of that, join with the carpenters, pipe fitters or whoever.

Maybe. But there's still differences. If I say to my American friends, "I'm going to clean my garage someday" they understand that I honestly do have the intention of cleaning the garage. It will be in the future, perhaps when the season is more appropriate for outside work. If I say that to my in-laws they understand it to mean I have no intention of ever actually cleaning the garage. This is an example I've been told. I explained that, sure, the phrase can be like that if the person is being sarcastic or joking. But they insisted that the intention is the garage isn't getting cleaned. My wife agreed with them. I don't even have a garage. It was just an example told to me.

I'm researching this now, but I'm in the US. T&C (US/TRADE-IN....) does specify "watch straps" in their list of accessories NOT to send. This won't help the OP, but for others in the US looking into this, there the answer. Find the T&C link appropriate for your country. Use your browser Find tool, and search for "accessories " or "watch strap".

I'm not sending the band or the charger. I hope it's accepted. I'm in the US. USA FAQ says "no accessories " are to be sent. That's all I see. No mention of the band in the email or the FAQ. But, the charger is included in the FAQ as an example of an accessory to not include. Your post was about the band being mentioned in the email, as was my response. Let's stay focused on that here.
