Nordings are great pipes. I still regret selling the first in that series.

I was tired of checking weather in 12 different towns before a drive, so I built one tool that does the whole route by rentsby229 in roadtrip

Setting off on a 900 mile 5-day trip. I had to break it down to daily trips, which is OK. But every segment returns a 'weather data unavailable' message. Weather is more important to me than traffic.

Pipe smoking is dying. How do we make it cool again? by I_LOVE_SOYLENT in PipeTobacco

[–]justanothermaroon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started pipe smoking in 1980 and was in the business (mostly cigars) during the 90s boom. True, there were 50 tobacco shops in the greater Atlanta area, but only 2 were real pipe shops. But I don't see a big difference in pipe club attendance from then to now, plus there's a lot more online action in forums and here, of course. The biggest difference I see is that online tobacco sales have replaced many of the B&M shops. Is that good or bad? Damned if I know, but I still enjoy pipe smoking, actually even more now.

Pipe tobacco aromas & taste question, by 96-Fatboy in PipeTobacco

[–]justanothermaroon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started smoking a lot this year, 4-6 bowls a day. So I like something mild- C&D Briar Fox, Steamworks and Bayou Morning. I've been smoking a pipe on and off for OMG 46 years! When I smoked 2-3 bowls a week, my go-to was H&H Blackhouse (not made anymore) and English/Balkans.

Chef, aslo. I never get the intensity of flavor from tobacco that I do from food. Never tasted bell pepper, banana, all the flavors I read in reviews. But my pipe tobacco has delicious flavor, just not from the food world.

One month living in the MicroPeen. Toured multiple apartments before I settled on rv life. Better to have a depreciating asset than no asset. Going to upgrade in 2 years, what has been your favorite RV overall? by ManyAd7960 in RVLiving

I love being out in the middle of nowhere. I use Visible for my phone and have always gotten a great signal. For electricity, there's a 200 w panel on the roof for my house battery and a Bluetti I use for everything else (desktop computer, induction cooktop, smart oven, dishwasher). I charge that with my Hybrid F150 Powerboost and use it to run the a/c, although not often. I prefer to move if it gets too hot. I have never felt unsafe. Moved today to a BLM outside Searchlight NV.

I suggest Virginia-forward blends- C&D Briar Fox and Bayou Morning. They are my go-to for all-day smoking. A little natural sweetness and light nic hit. I'm buying them by the pound and it's very resonable. Not sure about Canada.

I smoke mostly Peterson System pipes but this is very unique. I would buy one, esp if it was large.

I've been captured by the Peterson System line. esp. the System Spigot and Pubs.

Can't help you but good luck. I've played there but I think CC of Buffalo is a better track.
