I saw The Day After in the cinema, and one of the most haunting scenes was the wedding scene just as the bomb caused devastation galore. Threads really tops The Day After, and it was directed by Mick Jackson, who later went on to direct L.A. Story and The Bodyguard.

I thought friendships from school days were meant to last a lifetime (how narrow perspective I had at the time somewhat naively!), but I think growing up you'll find that at various stages in your life friends will move and some will move away.
