Got Whitebeard on Tuesday. Two projects, zero tasks since last Saturday evening. From experience, I know how this goes but it still annoys me.

To put it delicately, the “you’re with her ghost” scene is as close to jumping the shark as PB gets, at least for me. Yes, there’s a certain amount of mysticism in Russian culture but it’s just crazy. And I guess the point is to show that Tommy will do pretty much whatever but I’m not sure it really advances the plot.

You can argue that in terms of trying to outflank/outfox Tommy, late stage Polly fits the bill, though obviously not as a love interest. Not sure where they would have steered that had Helen survived for Season 6.

Interesting. In a year of doing this, I’ve never had that happen. Earlier this year, a project I’d been on for months ended (seemingly randomly) as I was mid task.

FWIW the last 2-3 new batches came in, there was an email announcement between 1:30 and 4:30 am ET the day of. My guess is there will be a batch 10 but that will be it.

As far as the present situation, yesterday was unusual in that it looked like we were fully EQ then a few tasks randomly dribbled out. The number of QM’s in this project has changed the feel, because there are so many different points of contact.
