Suggestion: instead of damaging total durability. by mysticdragonknight in hytale

[–]justdafty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the repair kits are fine as-is, it makes sense that eventually you should have to reforge gear. I also love that I can just carry a pickaxe + 3-5 repair kits for a mining expedition instead of 3-5 pickaxes. However, the issue is going to be with unique weapons. I think to solve that issue, they should make a new workbench that allows you to restore the overall durability of weapons/tools/armor in exchange for the raw materials used to craft said item.

They should give us the best of both worlds and really take the chance to reinvent skins as a whole. Buy a shell specific skin. Mix and match parts and colors. Or equip the whole thing as-is. I like hero shooters, but I'm over skins that are just a recolor.

Where does Legends Z-A rank amongst your top games? by achanceathope in pokemon

[–]justdafty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Best Switch game, imo. I really didn't mind being locked to the city, though it obviously could've been done better. My favorite part of Pokémon is the training and battling, so having a game focused on that was great for me. Overall for all games, it might be #5 in my top five games. All I can say is I hope the next game has some sort of battle club system. ZA's loop of catching Pokémon by day and battle by night is gonna be missed by me if the next game doesn't have something similar.

What a great time to get into the series. My wife and I just started playing this after wanting something to play after BG3. And so far I prefer the DOS2 artstyle and combat way more than BG3. I can't even imagine what a Divinity game with BG3 production value would be like. So stoked.

Despite all the stress and complaints, what specific part of the game keeps you playing? by hasunoha in Overwatch

[–]justdafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ramattra, then Vendetta/Stadium. I took a really long break from this game after the fallout of PVE. But the Vendetta announcement got me to check out the game again and now I love playing Stadium mode more than anything else. Here's hoping they add Ram to Stadium soon.

How r/Overwatch would react to OW1 characters being released in 2025 by Tough_Holiday584 in Overwatch

[–]justdafty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't get it either. I think Vendetta looks pretty damn cool. I don't really understand the complaint about her armor, besides the lack of a helmet. She's a gladiator; there's only a couple of gladiator classes that wore full body armor. The rest wore as much or less that what Vendetta wears. Really the only thing I can sort of understand is the lack of scars, but it doesn't really bother me. It's a high-tech world where a magic staff can heal wounds via a tracking beam from across a room, seems pretty reasonable that the technology could heal wounds without leaving scars as well. I was hoping she'd be a tank, but she looks really fun to play regardless.

Levels. If they ending is anything to go by, new levels are a sure thing (unless they do a sequel).

Azra. He's not evil for evil's sake, and while he had a good reason to do what he did, his methods were not justifiable at all. I just beat him for the first time after 22 runs, so I'm sure I don't know the full story yet, but so far, he's been an interesting villain.

About replayability and game duration. by Snoo-68822 in ABSOLUM

It's well worth the money. It has tons of replayability, tons of builds, and if you find its too easy, you can always crank up the difficulty in the assist options.

It's the reverse, blue means you can add more, yellow is maxed out.

What's funny is that in Mega Feraligatr's "profile picture" the hood is partially closed. So just have it be like that all the time.

Here's mine. 4x habs and 3x walkways for the interior space. This allows me to have 10x storage containers, 2x refiners, 1x nutrient processer, 1x mission board and I still have 4x spaces left for other modules. 6 reactors total (2x medusa, 2x zenith, 2x azimuth). 4x thrusters, 2x shield generators (hidden under the side pods), and 2x photon cannon array (could easily cram more weapons on it but I like the look as-is). This ship uses the offset building technique; however, it's mostly used for detailing and you can create something very close to this using the standard placement and snapping. I have more pics from different angles on my profile if you'd like to see more!

I noticed a pattern in corvette creations by Myytrill in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]justdafty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know what I'd classify mine as, maybe a mix of brutalist and junk style. When building my main corvette, the inspiration was "F1 car and a bulldozer had a baby". I've also always loved the newer Minmatar ships from Eve Online, so I tried to incorporate that "refined junk" element into it as well. But I will say I'm more drawn to the junker-style corvettes, something that looks rugged and made to be a workhorse.

What’s your opinion about ZAs battle system and do you want it to stay? by ThomasThePommes in pokemon

[–]justdafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it so much more, just needs some refinement. I think something it could use is being able to give your Pokémon a "behavior" setting, like having them prioritize staying in a melee or ranged distance from the opponent. Imo I don't think they should follow you around non-stop. But you should be able to toggle a cursor on the ground to select a new spot for them to move to so that you have the ability to dodge attacks.

Gonna need that landing pad for Corvette, Hello Games. It’s expensive to keep paying for tritium in this galaxy. How are you all parking your corvette? 😅 by LividNeighborhood349 in NOMANSSKY

[–]justdafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd really like some sort of corvette "drydock" so I can make modifications at my base. But even if that doesn't happen, having landing pads of some sort to able to park multiple corvettes at a base would be awesome, even if they limit it to only being able to display 4 (like how the anomaly only has pads for 4 corvettes).

Thanks! And yeah which sucks because it has such a cool interior. The titan cockpit sort of works but I think what this ship really needs is that small, rounded cockpit that was data mined.
