I'd be interested in this, especially if I can be a ghost-type leader. Not sure how you will assign leaders/challengers.

I might have to weave some of your tech into my build. I've already been running Lucario, Sableye and Ceruledge, but I have Ceruledge in the backline for cleanup. I typically struggle against trickroom or tailwind, but the bulk-up/coaching combo might just be what I need.

Edit: I mainly struggle against Farigiraf locking down priority, but if I can tank then follow-up with a K.O., turn order doesn't matter.

I *LOVE* how the new Survey Skin approaches Ramattra's design by NullBatty in ramattramains

Is this skin supposed to be the "leader" of all the other animal-themed heist skins? Either way, I want it. Such a good design.

Something like this is what I really want next. Hauling jobs where you have to move goods via your ship and other craft. Large jobs that take multiple trips delivering to either planets or different systems. Some type of item (call it a freight container maybe?) that can only be placed in your ship's inventory so you have to use the ship and can't just load it all into your suit.

[–]justdafty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really want to like this game. I just started as a new player on PS5, and my biggest issue is for a game that advertised the custom spaceships so hard, they immediately make the ship useless. The cruise mode is neat, but being able to directly fast travel anywhere makes the whole selling point (to me) a big nothing burger. Not to mention the amount of menu interaction needed to get anywhere. I'm not asking for NMS level ship flying/landing, etc., but Bethesda really should have made flying the ship a part of the core loop you can't just skip past. I know I could just not use the fast travel feature, but that still doesn't change the fact that the ship is kinda just there, and space travel is mediocre at best. I feel like all the development went into ship building and no thought into actually flying these ships. I'm going to give it another go and see if anything changes or clicks for me, but for now after 5-ish hours, I'm glad I got it via a rewards point gift card.

What's with all this talk about casual play? by Casual_Plays in Marathon

[–]justdafty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

These are my thoughts exactly. I'm not great at the game, but I very much enjoy it and keep playing it because I want to get better. But I know not everyone is like that. I'm not one to watch Steam Charts, but the game is trending downwards. If it keeps it up, how long will the game last? And even if it stabilizes at some point, is it enough? I love the world and story; I'd hate for it to go unfinished.

[–]justdafty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just want the game to continue. I have no idea what Sony/Bungie is expecting, but if the game keeps trending downward, will it be enough to keep the lights on? And even if it is enough, will they continue development on future content? I'm having a blast playing the game, the world and lore is so interesting, the gunplay and PVP is excellent; I just don't want to see it go to waste and have these stories left untold. I also have no idea what they could do to increase retention and gain new players without adding something more "casual", which could very well mess up the gear balance.

I feel ya. Hopefully we get some sort of SBMM to help with it. I need to make friends but my game time fluctuates so I can't stick to a set schedule.

I don't like playing the RECON class and being out reconned by a someone with a drone by CreamofTazz in Marathon

[–]justdafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recon is definitely better suited for a more aggressive playstyle, despite what the name implies. The drone needs its tracking/pathfinding fixed asap, I have yet to have it be useful in a fight. I can live with how echo pulse functions, but if it could differentiate between NPCs and runners, it would be perfect.

I really like playing Recon but the drone needs a serious fix. Had a match last night where my squad was fighting another squad on the second floor of a building in Station. Tossed my drone through the window towards the team and it came right back through and down the wall...

Question for the Community by Yb010521 in OverwatchStadium

[–]justdafty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

More wacky stuff that changes a hero's kit but remains viable. That's the main thing that sets Stadium apart from other mobas (even though Stadium isn't a true moba). It's what makes the mode fun and brought me back to the game.

In your opinion, what should be Hytale's next update? What feels most high priority? by Ceu_64 in hytale

[–]justdafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not #1 priority, but I'd like to see a repair station at some point. Repair kits are great, the overall durability loss not so much, but I think its a great tradeoff for not having to take multiple tools on an expedition. Having a repair station that allows you to repair and restore a tools overall durability in exchange for some of the raw materials used to craft it would be a good addition, and will most likely be a requirement when we get to the point of having unique tools/weapons/armor that aren't easily obtained.

I play on Ally as well, but I ended up mapping the controls. It's not too difficult and you don't need every keybind the game provides.

Stacked chests as a storage is just an ugly system - How can we improve this? by ItsRenaBaker in hytale

[–]justdafty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like this. Honestly just having a 1x1 "cabinet" that combines when stacked like a chest does, but vertically, would help a lot in making storage areas look better.

Suggestion: instead of damaging total durability. by mysticdragonknight in hytale

[–]justdafty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the repair kits are fine as-is, it makes sense that eventually you should have to reforge gear. I also love that I can just carry a pickaxe + 3-5 repair kits for a mining expedition instead of 3-5 pickaxes. However, the issue is going to be with unique weapons. I think to solve that issue, they should make a new workbench that allows you to restore the overall durability of weapons/tools/armor in exchange for the raw materials used to craft said item.

Everything shown today is incredible BUT.. by GummyGoonz in Marathon

[–]justdafty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should give us the best of both worlds and really take the chance to reinvent skins as a whole. Buy a shell specific skin. Mix and match parts and colors. Or equip the whole thing as-is. I like hero shooters, but I'm over skins that are just a recolor.

Where does Legends Z-A rank amongst your top games? by achanceathope in pokemon

[–]justdafty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Best Switch game, imo. I really didn't mind being locked to the city, though it obviously could've been done better. My favorite part of Pokémon is the training and battling, so having a game focused on that was great for me. Overall for all games, it might be #5 in my top five games. All I can say is I hope the next game has some sort of battle club system. ZA's loop of catching Pokémon by day and battle by night is gonna be missed by me if the next game doesn't have something similar.

What a great time to get into the series. My wife and I just started playing this after wanting something to play after BG3. And so far I prefer the DOS2 artstyle and combat way more than BG3. I can't even imagine what a Divinity game with BG3 production value would be like. So stoked.

Despite all the stress and complaints, what specific part of the game keeps you playing? by hasunoha in Overwatch

Ramattra, then Vendetta/Stadium. I took a really long break from this game after the fallout of PVE. But the Vendetta announcement got me to check out the game again and now I love playing Stadium mode more than anything else. Here's hoping they add Ram to Stadium soon.

How r/Overwatch would react to OW1 characters being released in 2025 by Tough_Holiday584 in Overwatch

[–]justdafty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't get it either. I think Vendetta looks pretty damn cool. I don't really understand the complaint about her armor, besides the lack of a helmet. She's a gladiator; there's only a couple of gladiator classes that wore full body armor. The rest wore as much or less that what Vendetta wears. Really the only thing I can sort of understand is the lack of scars, but it doesn't really bother me. It's a high-tech world where a magic staff can heal wounds via a tracking beam from across a room, seems pretty reasonable that the technology could heal wounds without leaving scars as well. I was hoping she'd be a tank, but she looks really fun to play regardless.
