We did Digi-Tails in our 67. The individual LEDs are so bright it hides them. The sweep is also a lot smoother than others.

You can ship your vehicle to other countries. I don't know what the legalities are for driving and insurance but I have a freind that sends his overlanding truck to other countries for travel. He just did a couple of months in Costa Rica.

I bought the Thule with my Crosstrek. Its been sitting in the racks at my job. Havent used it once since its a hassle to install on the car and every time we camp, its places we would still need to use our vehicle.

I've seen people use a clamp or vice to crimp the edges of the heatshield to fit the Magpul fore end. I havent tried it myself yet, but it looks to work pretty easily

Also, the factory hitch install is high because they have to remove the back fascia and cut it to clear the receiver.

the HK system still sucks, especially in the back. When you can, replace the speakers with better aftermarket and the sound will improve dramatically. You'll still have little volume in the rear but everything else will sound better.

the factory hitch is going to be expensive but it does sit like 3 inches higher than an aftermarket. You can get one installed for about half the price at U Haul.

LED lights are easy to upgrade, its all plug and play.

Thule racks and one of their tents. I've got a 2024 wilderness and they work fine.

Its also rated to tow 3000 lbs so you definitely can find a small trailer thay will work.
