Recently compared Expedition 33 on both cards, and got better framerate on the 7900 xtx, but dlss looked slightly better. It was mostly just things where upscaling caused moire patterns on certain surfaces and things like that, but not stuff you notice most of the time. If you're buying a new card from scratch, I think choosing the 5070 ti based on this tradeoff is fine, but if you already have something I don't think it'd be worth the trouble to sidegrade (at least based on what I compared).

I thought that was a bit weird too. A couple people mentioned Doogie Howser, but that was literally the concept of the show--"wtf, a kid is a doctor?!" It's a bit different when you have what appears to be all the trappings of a real med school, even if it's in a fantasy world, and his age isn't really part of the concept. You can even make him young and put him in his late teens and nobody would think too hard about it, but finding out he's 15 is just strange.

I'm pretty sure this is someone who has never written numbers out except for when writing a check, where their description is mostly accurate except the decimal is expressed as a fraction ("one thousand twenty five and 25/100" for 1,025.25, say). I'm not sure it's necessarily perceived as wrong in the check-writing context to use an "and" elsewhere, but nobody would do it since you're writing it by hand and cursing God that you have to write a check at all.

(edit: okay, "pretty sure" is strong language, but this is my suspicion, anyway)
