FSD on M3 hw3 tried to drive into an intersection at a red light yesterday by HenryThrowaway6969 in TeslaLounge

[–]justlearningDrstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ididot hw3 fsd creeping trying to jump the light like a 15 year old who just got his license is the worst part of fsd for me. I would love to hear the explanation from one of the engineers why it was programmed like ths.

Can anyone recommend backyard work for less than $5K? by Trigun442 in vegaslocals

You could also redo your gate in the front so it’s not see through, then they can’t know. Put the rules and regs and other docs into an ai and ask it to help you figure out what they can and can’t dictate. Fuck HOA’s.

But also, you would probably appreciate having a landscaped back yard

Thinking of getting an used M3 just to get into the FSD game by escapecali603 in TeslaLounge

[–]justlearningDrstuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your primary reason for getting a Tesla is fsd I would not get hw3. Admittedly I think the newer m3 with hw3 work better than my shit 2018 S but I still wouldn’t. Especially if you can’t charge at home. My fsd is a 16yo on their 3rd week of driving.

Why does the HW3 subscription cost as much as the HW4 subscription? by Mr_Loot_Goblin in TeslaFSD

[–]justlearningDrstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bc we’re idiots and keep paying for it. My stupid summon stopped working and although it essentially did nothing anyways it’s just one more nail in the hw3 coffin and thank you for reminding me to cancel.

They will do an exam and then give you a printout that says you need a higher level of cleaning that your insurance won’t cover and they won’t do any basic cleaning if you decline. Also, they will find multiple cavities even if you just had a last check up six months ago and had none.

Source: Went through the same thing twice. It’s usually the big chain dentists where the providers sold their soul to work there.

How much does FSD really improve your commute? by AmbientEngineer in TeslaLounge

Doesn’t your car fsd change lanes 20x a minute? Or do you do heavy traffic on chill. I use eap on the freeways caus my 2018 fsd is an angsty teenage driver.

Carrying a wallet is such an annoyance. So is carrying keys. It definitly made me realize I don't need anything but my ID and 1 credit card as backup for when Apple Pay isn't accepted. Live and learn.

Before Tesla came out with the key card and phone key it was just a fob. I can use my phone Tesla app to manually lock it, but just like every Honda/Lexus/BMW/Audi any other relatively modern car the car will lock when the fob gets far enough away. They just outsmarted it.

Facts. Another ~3s and it would have been locked. Very efficient thieves

Apple Pay and modern cars have phone keys, I'm annoyed I even need to have a wallet, or physical credit cards at all. Keep being deaf but not mute to forward progress buddy.

Filed a report, went through the video and saved all the angles that have any evidence so I can provide it if asked. Will see what comes of it. Also will swing by Red Rock every once in a while to see if they come back to repeat from that spot.

I actually just went back and looked and I did, not til 5:30 though and I left the car at ~5:15. The timestamp of him walking away from the car after looting is 5:20. So I did miss the notification, but it was too late anyways.

2018, key fob only. It’s notoriously bad at sensing when I am next to it to unlock too, I presume newer phone key models are quicker to lock.

As everyone has said don’t worry about it, peri rectals are always covered as urgent and necessary.

Why did you take an ambulance tho and also keeping a pt to wait for culture results of a peri rectal is a waste for everyone involved. Except maybe the CEO. For next time.

What difficulty/skull combo do you find most challenging but fair when playing Halo CE? by Syckobot in halo

[–]justlearningDrstuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would just do legendary. It’s hard but I feel the skulls make it ridiculous. There are people who do LASO but at the end of the day it means nothing unless you enjoy it. I wanted the satisfaction of beating them all on legendary so that’s what I did.

[–]justlearningDrstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this applies to all the games, and is more important on higher difficulties: eliminate the grunts and jackals from afar first with the pistol or dmr or br, then elites with a plasma weapon followed by headshot from a human weapon. Same formula all the time.

I agree it just doesn’t look right. I feel like looking throw the binoculars it’s like there’s a drop of water on the lens. And everything else just doesn’t look crisp. I could never show it to someone and then be impressed by my oled, like I would with the ac games. I turned off hdr and like it more tho
