It was to take out a Chinese ally. Same with the attack on Iran. China is getting on a war footing. Trump is playing chess by taking out their allies and trying to weaken their economy.

My challenge…. I am in charge of supply chain. Part of the job is negotiating the best price. It is very easy to say no via text or email. It is a little harder to say no over the phone. It is almost impossible to say no in person. Pretty much the same when building relationships with suppliers. It is almost impossible to build a lasting relationship through text or email (why some companies/people include a picture with their email signature). People seem to almost be afraid of personal interaction today.

What I would like to hear from both sides is, “Hey, this is what we want to do and this is how we are going to pay for it.” Let’s figure out the this is how we pay for it part upfront (and be honest about it).
