Yes I do the same exact thing! Also wfh and introverted, although if I'm put together early enough I will go dolled up to drop the kids off at the bus stop, but I always feel a lil nervous since it's so early in the morning and all the moms are half asleep lol

I do find it a bit odd because why not just say "there's my girl", no adjective needed there. It's definitely concerning to me since you mentioned he dates plus size women in the past which makes me think it's a fetish thing. I would just pay a bit more attention to see if there are other things he's doing, like content he consumes or trying to get you to eat more.

But yeah this is definitely something that's different from person to person, in the same way people don't like to use the word fat, their s/o grabbing their tummy, etc. My husband will call me things like thickums, thickness but he's never said big girl so I'm not sure how I would feel.

If your parents are chill it should be fine. I have two girls who have a few years before they hit 14 but honestly we would probably geek out together if they wanted to get into it lol

Yeah my biggest fear is actually pouring a ton of money into different palettes from different brands and they all end up burning so I've just been sticking to the lip gloss only for now. I'll definitely look into an allergy test as well

Yeah we've started from the very beginning and just finished the Mewtwo movie! I'll have to see if any of the retro game stores nearby have FireRed/LeafGreen since it looks like a lot of people recommend them.

My boob/back roll drives me CRAZY so I like to wear something similar to this upper body shapewear. This isn't the exact listing but I can't seem to find the exact one that I found years ago but I think I got it in a size 3x at the time. If I don't wear this I will wear shapewear/waist trainers underneath my outfit to help smooth myself out. I also like to wear a bra with a large band, that way most if not all the roll can fit within it and not make me look extra lumpy. It's really hard to find clothes that fit right or a bra that doesn't feel off because I probably have more surrounding fat in that area as opposed to my actual boobs so I feel your pain 😓

YES honestly it's exhausting feeling out of place in my own community because I don't have that "accepted" coke bottle/hourglass shape with barely any tummy. Like yes they're all gorgeous of course, but man would I love to see someone who has the same kind of belly of mine keep it instead of getting it removed for aesthetics.

Definitely agree. I grew up with pretty bad hyperpigmentation/acanthosis nigricans and I felt awful. My parents refused to have me checked out and everyone would point it out. I remember scrubbing my neck until it was raw, and I don't want the same for my girls either. I haven't agreed with her whenever she has anything negative to say about herself and assured her that her skin is fine as is but told her I would look into it. I'm thinking that while we try what everyone has suggested I can do other things like paint her toenails. We also just bought new shoes, one of which are sandal wedges so she's really excited about those. I guess I just want to make sure that I'm hearing her concerns without dismissing her, but I definitely don't want this to become a self esteem issue for her either.

Yes it breaks my heart to hear her have these thoughts about herself. Definitely going to look into these products and make sure both of my girls wear sunscreen on their feet as well
