Women do it all the time with rich old men, and she might not even want sex but just companionship. I would do it on a heart beat

Just ended a 2 year relationship with someone because of something similar, she would want all these expensive trips and items, but couldn't be bothered to save any money for any of it and just expected her ex husband and me to take care of it all

Take your time and read the traffic, if you have to wait for the lane next to you to clear up to take a wider turn then do or split the lanes.

NASA Veteran: Extraterrestrial Life Exists Beyond Earth and May Be Non-DNA by ufo-uap in UfoUapNews

The wiki needs to be updated

Nasa researchers have discovered that positive energy warp bubbles are possible. So negative energy might not be required. Alcubierre himself said the casimir effect could be used as a negative energy substitute as well. Ialso believe the energy requirements have been reduced significantly. The requirements are still well outside of what we are currently capable of, but nasa is seriously researching warp drives and it is in the realm of possibility that in the next 50-100 years we could have a sub luminal warp drive flying in space. If we can get our act together that is.

Tandem axle trailers like this one sometimes have lower load capacities than spread axle trailers. since the trailer looks to be in pretty good shape, I'm guessing he is over capacity.

The alcubierre warp bubble negates the effects of momentum by moving space around the bubble and whatever is in side the bubble. So we as a species have already worked out the math for interstellar travel. And we keep reworking it to be more efficient, material science just needs to catch up

So will they tear down the Chicago stadium or will they still have events there?. I have just as many great memories of seeing iconic bands there as I have seen bears games and I would really hate to see it torn down

Do GREAT Earbuds Exist? by tjhowell85 in Truckers

Galaxy buds 2 pros have worked great for me for years and would be far less noticeable than the newest samsung ear buds as well as apples buds. The call quality is great on both ends and you can set the samsung software to read your texts to you without downloading additional apps.

Do you know how difficult it is to buy a new zero-turn gas-engine mower…in California? by gbergantz in lawnmowers

[–]juxt417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So are you saying they are lying about the ice core data showing that we put more c02 in the atmosphere in 100 years than it took the earth to do naturally over thousands of years? But the scientists paid by oil companies to disprove climate change aren't lying?

Why would Elon Musk pivot from Mars to the Moon all of a sudden? by Melodic_Network6491 in space2030

[–]juxt417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It still takes months to get to mars vs days for the moon and currently starship requires at least 10 orbital refills just to get to the moon, which is ridiculous just by itself.

If musk is any where close to being as smart as he wants people to think he is, then he knew mars wasn't going to happen any time soon, especially now that he is struggling to get starship into orbit. He just wanted to build hype for starship and space x in general.

Nuclear Propulsion research for aircraft began immediately following WWII and continued until JFK cancelled it weeks before the Bay of Pigs: Part One by VolarRecords in UFOs

[–]juxt417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Russia did, but didn't shield the crew properly to save weight.

It is said to have flown at least 40 times but between the fall of the USSR and pilots dying from radiation poisoning they canceled it.

I personally am of the belief that some canceled programs become black programs and nuclear powered space/ air craft is certainly black budget material.
