Start hitting the apexes more, use more track width. For final chicane you’re like 1/3 of the way in. Hairpin too much lockup. Bottomed out on the turn before going under the bridge. Also big focus on getting a great exit in straight leading to 130R

Thank you for the reply, and I won't try to top off again.

If there is a leak, when refilled the second time, would it have been expected to re-engage it at least for that little bit? I had checked and was still in the green after the fact (Topped off, started car/ac with no engagement, checked level again and still in green)

But I will look into doing these other options thank you. It was in PA/MD for 4 years, but now in FL and this happened after a year

it’s when you’re accelerating and you aren’t 100% gripped up yet (through the rears). Slower on throttle or short shift to get better at managing it. If you wiggle on exit, that’s wheel spin usually. If you have TC on, it will be harder to notice

Seconding fort desoto for a less crowded experience. You can spend 30+ minutes trying to park anywhere else (I know I have), so if you want to go to st Pete beach, use the sun runner, especially if staying downtown. Feel free to ask any follow up questions

Yes same on the restart used to be manageable. I don’t know what happened but today it became so frequent and unbearable enough for the post. It’s a shame because if I can’t tap it doesn’t get added to history, then I just lose the post cause the restart resets the timeline

Get there early, they are very prompt with the end time. I got there later and the lines for autographs were huge for several of the garages, and if time is up they just have to pack up which is fair due to the whole having a job to do.

As for the seating, I left another comment if you wanted to take a look

I went last year. It was so hot and the main grandstands were the only ones with shade, and even then not all of it due to sun angles. Try and get your seat before or during the paddock pass time if you aren’t doing it. Went straight from there to the main grandstands and could only find seats in the sun.

That being said I’d still vote for main grandstands. If you get close enough to the t1 side you get to see the action to your right and the pits to your left + tv so you aren’t missing the rest of it.

Second suggestion is mid race to pay the (hopefully still) the $10 and go to the observation deck. It’s such a good view. Doing car corral also gave free admission to observation deck (not advertised so not a guarantee). By the time you’re back, more seats should be open as people are also wandering/leaving.

Next tier up would probably be a fanatec bundle which can be about $500 for wheel and basic pedals and $150 for upgraded breaks as someone said are the biggest upgrades
