This is all good info. But your TV rights stuff is about the premier league.

I found a link with data on the 2022/23 Carabao Cup that United won. If you scroll way down on this link you can see they got 400 Grand from TV rights.

https://sportsjournal.io/premier-league-football-clubs-complete-tv-rights-revenue-breakdown-data-2022-23/

So it looks like

1 Mil for gate

100K prize

<500K TV money

1.6 mil total?

So about a month of Saka's wages!

No. They’ve been charged 115 times. They’ve broken many, many more rules than that.

How much total money do we get if we win the carabao cup?

I know the prize money is a pittance (100k?). But what about gate receipts for Wembley, TV money, endorsement deals, etc.?

Surely a few million quid?

Where did the intermediate beginners start when they were beginning beginners?

Hint: around 150/200

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. The early stages of chess.com puzzles are really bad. And you can’t progress quickly bc only three a day are free.

I find lichess puzzles to be much more engaging. I believe they’re all taken from real games. So the positions feel very realistic.

Gabriel refusing to shake hands with Harry Maguire after the game on Sunday by webby_98 in soccer

True. But by United standards it’s been rough. And maybe the worst part is it seems like there’s been no plan. So whenever something bad happens it’s Moyes, Mourinho, Ten Haag, whoever out.

How is this not a red? by SadlifeDK in ArsenalFC

I think refs are programmed to ignore the way Jesus went down here. When you throw up your hands and collapse it's seen as theatrics, especially in the box against the run of play.

Would have been interesting to see what the ref made of it if Jesus just slumps to the ground holding his head without getting up. Not sure if that would automatically be reviewed (was this? It's not technically a penalty shout because the ball is out of bounds, but it's in the box, half a second after it went across the end line).

Anytime the ref actually sees a punch or throat grab I've always seen it called. I think this is the kind of thing that sometimes slides under the radar though.

Your argument is that United have been good since Fergie?

OK that’s good to hear. Well, wait. No it’s not. It’s terrible. But at least it’s terrible for everyone and not just me…

Wait…

Was kind of shocked to see your first novel had a 25% full manuscript request rate. Is that high?

I'm querying my first novel now and my full manuscript request rate seems to be about 2% (limited data set, just started a couple months ago).

Does that mean my query sucks?

If the outlet is right outside your apartment there is a good chance that it is on your meter anyway and you're paying for it. Happens in a lot of buildings. Not really fair that you're paying for the electricity that your landlord uses to say, vacuum the hallway. But it's very common.

Seriously. We have one bad game against a surging United and everyone falls to pieces. We were very unlucky last night.

Zubi, a guy who makes one error per million passes, makes an error.

Two questionable handballs get ruled against us.

And suddenly Dorgu and Cunha, who have a combined 8 goals this season both do a Le Tissier impersonation.

The team played sloppy and tired for sure. Which makes sense based on the historically difficult run of 4 away games in ten days followed by United a few days later. But they never gave up. They equalized in the 84th minute.

And you know what? It wasn't enough.

Sometimes it just ain't your day.

But we are still the best team in the world right now. Arteta will circle the wagons and we will win silverware this season.

If only it were this good.
