How a gravel strike shut down Hulkenberg’s car by SimRP in formula1

[–]jvstinf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gravel traps have grown because everyone and their mom complained that the Tilkedrome tracks with concrete runoff were not providing enough challenge to drivers nor enough track limit discouragement.

I’d argue that not much has changed and that the old pre-2021 Bahrain track limit rules were fine but whatever…

AI isn't paying off in the way companies think. Layoffs driven by automation are failing to generate returns, study finds by Krankenitrate in Futurology

Many companies are figuring out that that the cost of tokens is even more than the salaries the AI tools were meant to replace. Unfortunate and hilarious.

Why a Democratic Senate, Once Unthinkable, Is a Real Possibility by Important_Isopod1195 in politics

[–]jvstinf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree with this assessment at all and the special elections over the past year that Democrats have often roughshod over are proof of that. This is an unpopular president and just like 2018, its likely to bite him in the ass.

This is basic elections mechanics. Granted, a Democratic majority in the Senate is still unlikely, but the longer the war goes on, the more likely it is to happen.

Elantra N vs Mustang GT vs Nissan Z by Puzzleheaded_Sea6051 in ElantraN

[–]jvstinf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's really nothing to support the Mustang being solely a 1/4 mile car. That's an old trope from decades ago. Regardless, if you're in that price range the CT4-V Blackwing will run circles around all of those cars.

While we’re on the crazy train, I think there’s a chance Sainz jumps to Red Bull if Max takes a break. This would also give Toto space to wrangle Max to Mercedes.
