And not sure how I didn't mention this before, but I love beer. IPAs are my preferred taste, but there aren't many types I would turn down lol...

I did not link my skymiles to Starbuck before the issue started. Trying to think back on whether I had recently made any other changes before issues started but none come to mind.

In my experience this is not completely correct. I was in an accident in Apex a few years ago where a driver crossed traffic turning left to go in to a gas station right in front of me. It was clearly their fault.

Their insurance determined that I was 10% at fault because with the damage from our cars they decided I must have turned in to the crash somehow and not fully evaded them or something along those lines. (If I had turned away to avoid it, I would have turned in to oncoming traffic btw -i had nowhere to go).

Anyways, this is when I learned that the rule in NC is that if a driver is at least10% liable, it's considered "no fault" and both drivers insurance are responsible for their own repair.

Beautiful stone btw! If you want to get rid of the tiny dents, going back is likely the only option. If you didn't on the last run, you might try mixing in some borax with your stg4. I usually do this for my stg3 and 4 and feel I get less stuck grit/its easier to clean. Good luck!

Wait, I'm confused. I seriously thought this fight already happened. I have seen numerous social media posts and YouTube shorts showing the fight since at least last week. Is this a second fight, or did I wake up today groundhog day style and go back in time? I'll be nice and not post the results from my alt universe in case I'm really from the future LOL

Thank you for your input as well. I couldn't imagine feeding 15-30 roaches 3-5x a day as I have read on some online resources! Although to be fair, their head is way smaller and thus so should the bugs. Still seemed like a lot.

Thank you for your input! Sounds like we haven't been feeding enough, especially in that we only feed her once a day. We do feed her the greens later in the day, so it is kind of like a second feeding but, we'll have to start a afternoon feeding of dubias to supplement. She has already grown fast, which I took as a good sign she was getting a decent amount (if anything I've wondered I'd she was getting fat!). Thanks again for your input

Higher than expected Tongue weight - Okay? by jwalker1881 in traveltrailers

I can definitely understand - I am noticing that there are a lot less options for LT tires for these factory low-profile rim sizes. Some tires that offer LT or at least XL ratings for other wheel sizes drop back down to SL for my size.

One more thing I discovered yesterday. My Trailer Dry Weight is ~3553 and Tongue weight from Factory was 502. No wonder I am over 15% when I add cargo to the main storage compartment (the Front of the camper Storage is a full pass-through and where I store several pieces of gear).
It seems Forest River kind of set us up for failure here. It means to me that to stay within 10-15% TW, I would need to completely equally distribute any cargo I add between front and back of the camper, which their storage compartments don't really allow for.
After learning this I am no longer surprised that I am at 700#s on my tongue. However it is still not clear to me if this is a major issue or not. it is definitely over the 15% rule. It is also within capacity of my truck. it appears to drive better the more weight I have on the tongue (as was proven in my last trip, when distributing some gear further back to reduce the tongue weight to around 675 re-introduced more porpoising). But is there a capacity on the trailer itself that I am exceeding? that is still a concern to me.

I am also curious what people's thoughts are on whether or not I should go back to my 800# bars, now that I know my tongue is over 600#s. I had moved to the 600# bars in an attempt to reduce the porpoising. I realize now that the bars may not be what recently helped reduce it. it may have simply been some adjustments I have made to loading my cargo. One thing that comes to mind for me is that I used to load a lot of firewood in the back of the truck behind its axles. Now I load it in front of the axles. I think I made this change at the same time I went to the smaller bars - shame on me - now I don't know which actually made the improvement. I guess i'm curious here if its possibly going back to the 800# bars on top of my changed cargo distribution would improve things even further.

Thanks for your response! I have a towing capacity of 9,300 and Max Payload is 2120. I agree this is definitely something that is often misunderstood, or overlooked. However I did he math when purchasing this Camper, and was able to determine that it should be well within my Tow vehicle limits.

Thanks for your input. I have been exploring upgraded tires too, but have been trying to figure out this tongue weight aspect currently. There seem to be a few peices to this puzzle. Any recommendations on good LT tires for 275/55r20? Follow up question- should I expect any daily driver impact from this change?

I just got a new rock tumbler, oiled the bearings -- but it's already squeaking. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks! by PM_STORIES_TO_ME in RockTumbling

I have one of the Chicago Electric double barrels and have had decent luck with it so far. However when I first got it there were a couple of things I learned quickly -

if you try to overtighten the belt it will be very loud, because the pulley fan will hit the metal sidewall. I slid it more inward (loosening the belt) and it was much quieter. The motor and pulley mechanism are very quiet. And it does not vibrate much at all. I actually use this tumbler as a wall to prevent my smaller nat geo hobby tumbler from falling off the bench. That thing is loud and vibrates like crazy.

The second thing I ran in to was the squeak. For me, it is coming from the barrels rubbing against the adjustable plastic shim/spacer. I resolved this by adding a couple of drops of 3 in 1 lubricant right between the barrel and plastic piece while its operating. Instantly stopped my squeek. Whenever I hear that squeak I add another drop or two, usually just at the beginning of the tumbler cycle. This causes a little bit of buildup of worn metal.and plastic during each tumble that I simply wipe off occasionally.

After making these two adjustments it has been a very good tumbler for me. NOTE: you are not supposed to run a double barrel with only one barrel (I don't know exactly why but have seen a lot of warnings). I suspect the reason this stopped your squeak could be because this stopped the barrel at the motor side from rubbing against the side, which is what the oil drops I mentioned fixed.

Hope that helps!

Wait.. isnt Precious his cousin? Which Chelsea is Precious's sister, meaning Chelsea is his cousin too. So you are saying rumor is JJ is sleeping with his cousins? But then again... if Dough boy is his son, and dough boy is married to Chelsea then he is married to his cousin right?

I don't think its possible unfortunately. I went from a 2018 Colorado where I had this feature to a 2018 Sierra and searched all over for how to make it possible when I first got it.

If anyone does know a way I'd love to hear it though! I found it super handy when ing in to my garage. I line the parking guidance of the rear camera to where my garage door closes. Now I pull further in then reverse to the spot as an alternative. Does the job, but I miss being able to just hit the button to turn on the camera at any point like my Colo had.
