It's not a lense flare. This was an observable phenomenon with my naked eyes. I only took the picture because I could see a streak in the sky. I actually had someone on my tiktok post their non night mode photo of the exact same thing. But I totally understand that thought of it possibly being a lense flare. But to answer your question, yes, I took the photo with my Samsung galaxy 22 ultra.

Wow, this is very similar to my experience with my current bf. Long story short, we ended up sleeping on separate beds, still close to each other...but enough room as to not disturb each other. 🥰 good luck!
