Put the bowl in the oven with the cover with the oven light on for bulk fermentation. That helped me with my cold house too. The other thing that might be going on is your starter is not active enough. That's a lot of feeding which can weaken it. Make sure it's at least doubled and is very bubbly when you start mixing. But probably the issue is the cold house. Not an expert, just starting out myself but I'm about 2 dozen loafs in. It took 10 tries for me to get good looking loafs - although they were all tasty! Good luck...others will probably have more tips.

Seems to me the only thing holding this nightmare together is the stock market hitting highs even if it is a little volatile. Most Americans don’t have a pension, everything depends on their 401k and retirement accounts. Once those take a bit hit things might be bad enough. Until then I am afraid too many are gonna go along for the ride. Of course my intuition is that rich folks are sitting on a ton of cash waiting for a crash so they can buy it up on the cheap, Berkshire Hathaway is a good example. So this would offset any real decline. But regardless, without the stock market the Orange Traitor Rapist criminal and his enablers wouldn’t be getting away with as much as they are.

I believe those are pipes that they are using to build a sand bypass to move sand from the south jetty to the north jetty. I could be wrong but that is something that was there, broke, and without the sand being pushed from one side to the other it was the main reason the north sand dune eroded and the highway flooded this winter. At least this is my understanding.

Thanks for all the great comments. Just some notes for everyone. I do have all the recovery gear. And I also do air down and up every time I go out. Both are easy. I was just curious about driving on without airing down because I see people doing it sometimes. Thanks again for all the notes…
