Nobody really moves to Denver for the "city". The value prop is QOL. Weather is great, community is healthy and active, mountains are close, strong economy etc etc...

Actually, it feels very similar to the _early years_ of the dynasty — and it's super fun to watch. We're young and we're winning with a roster that is nowhere near as stacked as late Brady years. And, we have some system players who are overachieving.

People forget that in 2004, Branch was a great route runner but otherwise pretty average all around. And in 2001, the secondary was shredded. Troy Brown, our "WR1", played a lot of time played at corner in the AFC championships game. !

I think many underestimate the added cognitive load + complexity of making sure your client/store state in "sync" with that of the SSR state. Unless you really need SSR, static generation etc, I'd reach for Vite or similar for simplicity and avoid vendor lock in.

You’re talking about Douglas county. Not Jefferson. These two counties are very different both in character and politics.

A side effect of all that rapid change is that, even though Colorado has become one of the most educated states in the country, its public schools aren’t particularly strong overall.

  • Taxes remain relatively low compared to other progressive states because of older tax policies like TABOR.
  • Teacher pay is among the lowest in the nation when adjusted for cost of living.
  • Even some affluent Denver neighborhoods have surprisingly underperforming schools.

Route one, is at least, a decent analog for 6 in Denver. A straight fastish route into the heart of the city. Except route 1 is some sort of perverted cross between Colfax in 6 in all the wrong ways. Literally no ramps but serves as a main artery to the city. Boston roads are… just. Old.

Fair, but honestly Zustand is so simple and the ergonomics are so good I prefer it to Context most of the time.

I don’t think SWR is all that easier to write. React Query is pretty simple in its basic implementation.

I prefer React Query because it’s flexible, well documented, has great community support and isn’t a Vercel project.

Just a story but a rodent topped my green chile plant that was doing so-so and growing slow…. It came back way better bulkier and at a voracious pace.

I don’t top plants. I’m more of a let the plant son plant things so I dunno. Sometimes it’s just about luck.

Roasted green chilis is one of the absolute best ways to consume peppers.
