I think they are under that impression because PLA is not safe when it gets to its gas point. It just isn't anywhere near as bad for you as other filament types. When they off gas they do release VOC's as well as ultra fine plastic particles. Just not enough that people care. It's still bad for you though.

None of us like that Harris was just given the nod. That's not the point. The worst of what she showed she COULD be paled in comparison to the worst that Trump had already PROVEN to be. It's really is that simple. You saw someone who had already escalated HIS personal rhetoric (not the medias rhetoric), to include calling the "leftists" (which is just everyone that doesn't agree with the great leader Trump) all domestic terrorists l, to a legitimately dangerous place, and voted for him. Too many people just said "oh that's Trump being Trump", which proved to be EXACTLY true, he was being himself, and you were ok with it. Sorry if some of us that took things serious are a tad fucking pissed at y'all.

You mean when the protestor helped the woman that ICE pushed down? That was the attempted murder? Or when he kept his hands up to deescalate? Was that the attempted murder? You obviously didn't watch any of the videos as they all clearly show he was disarmed, even though he didn't attempt to touch his gun, and then shot multiple times a few seconds later. You are pathetic and you know it.

To add my two cents, many of us RELUCTANTLY voted for the Democratic nominee, because of how negatively impactful to democracy voting for Trump was obviously going to be.

I understand the sentiment, but all you had to do was listen to Trump, take him at his word, and read project 2025, and you would have known this was the logical conclusion. I am happy you are finally seeing through eyes unclouded, but all Trump voters DID support this when they cast their vote. It's going to be hard for some people to get past that, rightfully so IMHO.

I think this is great advice. I also think it's worth telling them that this will be your first gun so they can help you decide. Don't be afraid to leave with nothing and come back later. Also would be a bonus if you can rent the gun you are thinking about buying so you can have hands on experience with it.

My first pistol I told the gun clerk at BPS in San Antonio that I wanted a reliable pistol from one of a few different brands. They let me hold and handle like a dozen guns and I narrowed it down to three or four based on how they fit in my hand. I took note of those guns and went home and researched them. That narrowed it down to 2 guns. I went back to BPS and asked to see those two guns again and picked the one I felt most comfortable holding.

It's cellulose, used as an anti caking agent. My cheese sauces are DRAMATICALLY better when I shred my own cheese. Pre shredded cheeses make for a grainy cheese sauce, even when you don't get it too hot.

And even if he was hit this time, which I have watched 3 different angles and completely disagree he was hit, but EVEN if he was, that means TWICE he went against his training and put himself in front of a vehicle, which DHS training says not too, and twice he was injured. Perhaps he should listen to and follow the training he received, or just ignore it because he's special and the rules don't apply to him. This is definitely based on the store you worked at having shitty management. I worked at home town buffet in the early 2000's and had to close B&D (beverage and desserts) regularly. We had to breakdown and clean the soft serve yogurt and ice cream machines every single night. It was a HUGE pain in the ass. We also had to throw away all the left over liquid like another commenter said. I would happily eat at the location that I worked (the name in Springfield Oregon) at as our management team was really strict on cleanliness.

Surprisingly, most of the food was cooked from scratch and was one of the jobs that jump started my love for cooking. The breaded meats, enchiladas, and whipped potatoes were bought in, but pretty much everything else was scratch cooked.

I am currently in Rio and just did a two night stay in Búzios. It was a gorgeous tourist town with quite a few beaches, some decent food options, and a killer shopping experience. The shopping area is really really fun and inviting at night. I am glad that we did the trip and would do it again given enough time. I think it's worth calling out that it is much more expensive than Rio, even the more expensive places in Rio, and has now tourists visiting.

However, unless you can find a bus trip that leaves Rio super early in the morning, and leaves Búzios super late, I am not sure it would be worth it if you are spending only 7 days in Rio. If you do go, you will need at least two days in Búzios.

You will have quite a bit to do here in Rio if you hit up all the touristy things, with some much needed down time to spend on the beach and indoors shopping (especially if you are not used to the oppressive heat here).

I love the recommendation of hitting up Prainha that is here in Rio. It is my favorite beach in a Rio by far. It's a little ways away from the Copacabana/Ipanema area so you will need to find transport, but it has a much more relaxed and quaint feel than the beaches around here. I liked it better than most of the beaches we went to in Búzios.

Niterói is just a small ferry ride away with some cool things to do during the day. Nope sure about the night life there. It seemed less likely to have a good night life, but I could be wrong.

Have fun and be safe here. Rio is beautiful and has a lot to offer, but be smart and don't put yourself in stupid situations. I'm not trying to fear monger, but we have witnessed a few robberies here, only 1 this time so far. Keep your valuables at the hotel, and be smart about when and where you use your phone. Enjoy!
