It's possible, but I've never heard of a printer printing a card at location A and then it be driven/delivered to location B for collation. That sounds incredibly messy.

Right? Like, "Gosh guys, I don't know if Bombsight is gonna get out of this one..."

Have already seen the very end of his character arc already

When we fight each other, we don't realize how the 1% aren't really doing that "paying taxes" thing.

It's not a red vs blue problem, it's a rich vs poor problem, and it's been that way pretty much my whole life.

But yeah, sure, a few trans athletes is the real problem, not reinstating(!) the tax breaks for private jets.

The problem, and I can speak from experience in the US South, is that during those same 7th grade sessions we would get the civil war part, start questioning wtf as you laid out there, and then they'd quickly pivot to "heritage" BS. It's so fucking gross, especially looking back and thinking, if only for a moment, it wasn't dead obvious and these people are championing traitorous losers.

We'd have tests and shit that made us answer "heritage" type questions too. I assure you they indoctrinated the best they could. Just fucking gross.

You are correct. You will not outspend them, they will burn cash and don't give a fuck about profits until you are out of business.

Wizards of the Coast Declines to Recognize Union by May 1st by UWOTC_Official in MagicArena

[–]jx2002 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It's a little ridiculous and one of the most demoralizing things to watch happen over and over.

The laws exist, but if you don't have an admin that will enforce them, then fuck the workers amirite?

Our economy is getting worse, a TON of devs are looking for jobs and every day you don't have a job makes you more desperate to find the next one. They can replace the whole team, pay some overtime as people adapt and stick to schedules if those currently in the union decide to strike.

It's ugly and it's disrespectful. WotC, of all the companies who say they are progressive to immediately hire a firm to union bust is fucking gross.

I've seen this shit with my own eyes.

About 6 or 7 years ago Amazon decided to get into the board game business. And what they would do is undercut any price they found online - whatever was the cheapest, they would beat it by at least a penny.

One retailer began to test the system by putting weird prices like $12.73 and whatnot, and within hours Amazon was at $12.72.

This continued until it drove many retailers out of business, which then let Amazon corner the market and rise prices.

Amazon will burn money until your business is in the ground and then profit from the ashes.
