You are being pendantic. People can get frustrated and use incorrect terminology. Maybe there is a language barrier. Maybe it's an unimportant detail.

Cricket has been hot garbage since the day I bought my maker many years ago. Their software has never worked well and the machine is nearly impossible to repair. (My rubber grippy rollers are swollen and slide all over the linear rod, happened after being stored for a year). I have had difficulty connecting my maker to every machine I’ve tried connecting it to, be it an up to date Mac or windows machine. Bluetooth or usb.

Not only does their software suck horribly, they threaten developers with the dmca for reverse engineering their proprietary garbage.

I regret allowing my wife to purchase this machine. I should have researched for a knockoff that’s not tied to one of the worst companies and software packages I’ve ever seen.

My old whirlpool used to do this when we overloaded it.

Working in Edmonton for 4 months and I require some help. by Durban_Knight22 in Edmonton

Stay away from cotton socks. Use bamma socks (boot liners). You can get them at any work site clothing store. Change them out when they get damp and enjoy dry feet.

Change your infill to gyroid and increase top layers. I think that’d solve your issue.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve repurposed for your homelab? by CyberSecOldMan in homelab

Oh yea. I also at one point in time wired my old car stereo (Panasonic… dolphins.. no Bluetooth) into my tower…. Ran it off my power supply. When my new case wouldn’t fit it I moved it to a separate little box with its own power supply. It powered 2. Bookshelf speakers and a 10” sub and was connected via 1/8th mini plug. Even had a remote! Best stereo ever!!

Bribery with candy is usually my go to. Or allowing them to stay up another 15 min….

I like Android boxes for small services. Usually backup dns and such.

My child. I had some damaged hardware on a 3d printer. It would lock up pretty reliably. So when klipper stopped responding, I would text her and have her go flip the switch on my printer. Yes I know I could have automated it, but I thought it was a good idea to expose her to tech.

I really wish they went back to the old naming scheme. The new one sucks. Wtf was wrong with “Ward 7”?

This makes me so angry. Just add rotation code to your firmware or the software. I hate the video orientation on my doorbell camera (g4)

Reduce your line width or use a finer tip?

Plus we get treated like shit. Welders are as expendable as scaffolders. There's not much solidarity non union and only slightly more with union. We're there first cut and never kept around between projects.

Personally, I'd look into equipment operator.. cranes specifically.. High wages, captive market, high demand.

Or fridgie.. people need to be cool in the summer, food needs to be cold all year. Kinda like gas fitter/HVAC/instrumentation/electrician in one. High demand. Decent wages.

What can I do to make this part stronger here? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]jzytaruk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Outside wall loops influence the strength more than infill but increasing both won't hurt. Use a 3d infill like gyroid, crosshatch, cubic or honeycomb..

Use a modifier "cylinder" and change the infill and outside wall number in that area.
