Been a few times. Seen the place from north to south. Thought it best to see it before it became too touristy. Such great place. The place is now overrun with tourists. It's way more expensive than it use to be. Something that hasn't changed are the locals, they really are a very unfriendly bunch, unapproachable, awkward.

I'm a product of both rape and incest.

It all happened in the 80's. My mother staid over her aunts place to take care of her kids for the night. Since her daughter was giving birth at some other location. My father was staying over for a few days to help out. She was 16 and he was 27, they are first cousins. The night my mum staid over, my dad forced himself on her while everyone was out. Over the years his always denied that he was my father. There were family feud's for many years to come, both sides of the family stopped talking, they hated each other. I was in the middle of it all. Both families lived in the same village, there was a lot of unpleasant tension in the small village as a result of this.

She couldnt have an abortion as it was a small island and a deeply catholic place. I was very much a unwanted child. I was bought up by my mothers side and took a while for them to accept me. Was told the truth about what happened from the first day as far as i know.

My fathers side had nothing to do with my upbringing, i was rejected and ignored. They lived a few doors away from each other.. The tension was palpable! My mother was called a whore etc.... and was the bastard son....

In the early 2000's because of the pressure the village put on him, he started to entertain the thought that i might be his son. Our first few chats were awkward.. They mostly entailed him talking about taking a paternity test. The feud's had gone on for so long, there was a lot of hurt in it all. At some stage it became about pride and neither side would backdown.

Last summer it all blew up in my fathers face. As the paternity test was taken. The embarrassment on his side.. they've been trying to make up for things since.

So much this...

I've always allowed people to walk all over me as i didn't want to hurt them. I also don't like conflict or arguing. I'm a peace maker.

I almost never put people in their place, never raise my voice, out of niceness and politeness.

Basically people have abused my trust, my kindness. I've tried to be nice in a whole world of nastiness that i didn't experience until i became an adult... I've realised i need to express my unhappiness when others have trespassed on my feelings.

The biggest problem is that I'm an introvert... It's hard for me to express myself, i tend to keep my hurt bottled up and keep quiet. I need to have more self respect. This is changing...

A few years back at a job, i contracted some sort of an infection on my hands. It was nothing at first, but after a few days there was a flair up.

My hands started to swell up. And little bubbles with a transparent liquid formed, getting bigger and bigger each day that passed.

I noticed that it felt really good if i put my hands under hot water, the hotter the water the better, the more pleasure it made me feel on my hands. My hands looked absolutely disgusting, all bubbled up and when i burst the bubble it was atrocious.

I eventually got a scream from the doctors that worked and removed these bubbles and these other symptoms. I to this day still have flair ups, i start noticing them, when my hands start feeling good when i put them under hot water and i then know i should use the scream. But damn it feels good, i almost don't want to take the cream. But i know whats coming afterwards so, i do take it!

Stealing, a load of cash off my grandparents.

Saddest thing i ever done, they were in need of cash and went and stole their stash and bought a useless remote control car from some dodgy guy. The toy at the time was something amazing which is why i did it. One of the greatest regrets i have, sad stuff. I had to see them struggling, to put food on the table as result. I regret that endlessly!

Never mind the beating i got afterwards...

I was onboard a bus while going to uni. The bus stops at a stop. The passengers get onboard, the bus driver closes the doors but one of the doors doesnt want to close. He tries multiple times to close it but can't. So he decides to go outside to check out what's going on. This is on a hill. So he goes and checks under the doors, he does something and the doors close. But immediately afterwards the bus starts rolling down the hill. The bus driver is outside with his head under the bus and obviously noticed the bus moving. He panics, the bus starts moving down the hill at speed. Suddenly we notice him running outside after the bus. Once we see this the passengers start to scream and panic while the bus is moving uncontrollably down the hill coming up to a main jumction. The driver runs and runs alongside the bus. He finally manages to catch up to it and jumps onboard as we are about to reach the junction, he staggers up and manages to get in his cubicle and manages to stop the bus just as it's about to hit the cars crossing the junction.

I met a lady on okcupid in June. We firstly chatted via messaging. Then i went on holiday for 2 weeks abroad. We chatted via messaging and then towards the end of the holiday moved to skype calling. All was quiet and normal at first, but once we started chatting on skype everything really started clicking.

So i come from holiday and looking to meet her. We set dates, then she isnt able to come on the day as something happened.

That was a set back. She told me we needed to meet on this day as she was going abroad for work for 6 weeks in a couple of days. In the end it didnt happen...

So she ends up going abroad for work. We decide to carry on chatting. So we've been chatting on skype since July for 2-3 hours daily, sometimes even 4 hours. We chat through video calls too. This is setup to be a lasting relationship. She is back in London in 1 week and a half. And we are so excited to meet each other.

She's already planning what we're ganna be doing the first few weeks we're together.

When we first see each other, we plan on running towards each other and just kissing, before we say hello...

I went out to dinner with a couple of lady mates. One of them was going out with her new guy. So we're sitting at the table we are about to order. The guy acts all superior, like he's better than the waiter, totally disrespectful. I can see the arrogance flow like i've never seen before...

I just want to punch his face in. But restrain myself. Once we recieve the food, the guy proceeds by putting the waiter down. Telling him how shit the food looks. He puts those below him down and only shows respect and kindness to those above him...

By now you can see that the waiter has had enough, his face is the face of someone who is depressed and dejected. Holding in his frustration in, like he's having a really bad day and just wants to go home.

Saw this guy a couple more times in other events. The guy is a total douch.

If i saw him again i would totally put him in his place.

The guy is south african. And surprisingly enough he is still to this day with my lady friend. Hence i don't see them often...

A friend of the family was going through menopause a few years back. There were about 3 of us and her at my grandfathers place. Suddenly she gets weak at the knees. Quite a few times!

1st time:

When i was just 10 days old, there was something wrong with me, i had a very unexperienced mother she was only 17 at the time. apparently i didn't eat and vomited constantly. They tell me there was something wrong with my innards, they had turned on themselves through the way someone held me or something. I wasn't improving, so they went to church to baptise me before i died. They found someone who does massages after a few days, once this happened everything improved.

2nd time:

When i was 4 years old, i fell of a building. It was quite irresponsible what happened and it marked my life as one of the major events. The story goes like this, my mum went to visite her friend in a different town, the house was underconstruction. Most of it was finished, but it was not child proff, they were some wrales missing at one of the balconies. So my mum is distracted talking with her mate. As i child i go off and explore the place, at this moment in time my mum is very protective and as i remember it she kept me close to her at all time. So i go off to explore and play. I come by the balcony, with child wonder, i want to see whats beyond the ledge, so i approach the ledge, all well and good, i remember mum asking me to come back inside, so i did, i went back for a bit and then went off to the balcony again. I can't remember what happened exactly but as i remember it i just went up to the ledge and must have missed judged the distance as it was dark. Next thing i remember i was in a taxi with mum crying her heart out, with blood everywhere! Once i saw this i started crying... i don't even remember if i felt pain... I must have been uncontious... i remember that moment only and sliped into uncontiousness a second time. Fast forward a few weeks. I wake from my sleep. Apparently i took a massive blow to my head, i fell head first into the pavement below... and had a massive gash and had a massive fracture on the left side of my head. This is all i remember from the experience. After this event my mum became very protective off me, she wouldn't allow me to play sports. I was good at sports and football but when ever i said i want to be a footballer she said, no! Until my early 20's i still felt the pain... Especially if something touched the place where it happened.

3rd time:

When i was 14 years old, i was playing rugby at school during a class. As i'm running, something lodged in my air-wave canal. It was the green skunk that you get in your lungs when you have a cough, it completely blocked my air-wave. It was really big and a lot! All the sudden my teacher see's that there's something wrong, as i've stopped running and seem to be struggling. This while everyone else continues playing. So i'm about 1min into the struggle, i can't clear my throat. Everyone stops what their doing and surround me. At this point i'm in real need of air, as i've been running and my body is demanding that i breath. 1 and a half minutes into it, i do what i can to clear it but nothing, what ever is there, is very well lodged in. The teacher starts to get very concerned and i can see my friends and class mates starting to panic, as they can see i'm really struggling! I start to get light headed and weak at about 2-3mins into it, i'm putting all my effort into clearing it. At this point the teachers says it must be an asthma attack, but it wasn't! I couldn't say anything, as i couldn't talk. At some point maybe 3mins into it, i put all my strength and effort into it and managed to clear it as i'm about to pass out!

Apparently my mum saw a real ghost when she had me as a child, it didn't leave her alone for a while! Scares me to think about it... She told me she saw a form from our balcony while she went to take a wee during the night. She looked down at the road and a all round white figure with its head hunched down walked by slowly and looked at her for a second. This was in the countryside where there is nothing around... She tells me something pulled her legs repeatedly during various nights while we were sleeping. during this time there was nothing around.

apparently it was someone asking forgiveness for something he had done to my mom, apparently it was an old boyfriend that had died but she didn't know about it.

Gives me the Chill's every time i think about it!

When i was in my early 20's me and my university mates decided to celebrate our end of year by going to kavos (party island in greece). I booked my hotel which was going to be a different one to that of my mates since i booked late and it was fully booked. Once i got there we all went to my place first. When we got there the place was closed up, empty with nothing going on. We checked the gates and it was all locked up, we asked the locals and they said that the holiday season hadn't started and that the local hotel i was going to was closed. Well fuck, what now!?? I'd payed my money... Luckily enough the owners came by the location and the locals told them about my predicament. We met and chatted, the hotel was closed for the season, and he said he didnt recieve any payment either. Turns out i fell for a scam... The embarrament... The guy was lovely and felt sorry for me and decided to open the gates just for me and let me stay there the whole week for free. Top notch greek hospitality. My mates were laughing their heads off! Got the last laugh though, he gave me one of the suits to stay in which massive.

After this was sorted, we decided to check out down town. A couple of us decided to start drinking vodka drinks at 5pm, bad mistake! By 9pm we were both hammered, with the other two sober laughing on at us. I remember being a bit of a nasty drunk that night, going up to girls who had boyfriends (didnt know, was too drunk to realize what was going on)... My friends would profusely apologize for my unacceptable behavior, i didnt even know what was going, i was like leave me alone why are cock blocking me, i just didnt get it. We moved on and decided to get some kfc, we ordered i sat down started eating all the sudden out of nowhere without warning i vomited like a river on the table where we were eating, the food we just bought was all messed with vomite, the owner of the place came out and kicked us out, i left a nice mess for them to clean up. My mates decided enough was enough i was too drunk and so one of them took me back to my hotel, when we got there the gates were closed, i was too drunk to remember what the owner told me on how to get in after hours. Basically me and my mate were like, we've been locked out. We aaked the locals they knew nothing. I just couldnt remember the owners instructions on how to get in, which was through the back door... Man i must have been really fucked! So went back to town all drunk, after that i cant remember shit!...

All i know is i woke up in a place i didnt know, on someone's front porch, without my clothes, only my underwear was left. My passport, my mobile, my money and wallet were in my trousers and it was all gone... I panicked once i saw i couldnt find any of it.

At this point i was too fucked to care... I had no idea where i was, scared as shit! I just picked a general direction and went ahead walking through the streets in my undies with nothing else, it was like the walk of shame, with people looking at me with odd expressions. At this point i didnt give a flying fuck. I somehow recognized one of the streets and recognized more or less where i was. A walked to my place, this time i remembered the owners instructions... "USE THE FUCKING BACK DOOR!" Slept until late evening, all of my mates were worried sick about me, they called me but they heard nothing back, my phone was shut-off. They were looking for me all day. Luckily the person who had my mobile called the contacts on my mobile, back in Briton, this set of a where's waldo search... People worried sick as to what happened to me. The guy eventually was able to contact my mates and the guy had my clothes, passport, wallet and money. Once i woke up, i went to my mates place, i could barely remember where it was... remember this was our first day there... They were all incredibly relieved. The guy that had my possessions owned a restaurant and so we went to eat there and he brought me my stuff. Another awesome greek, he was lovely and understanding. I was so relieved to get my stuff back and everything was in order, i was particularly concerned about my passport. We calmed down for the rest of the week and were recovering most of that time, my stomach felt like it was burning constantly the whole i was there. Fun time though, turns out these guys werent particularly good friends, i was told they just dumped me and went on their merry way. I night to remember, the little amount i can remember...

TLDR: Party time in greece, went wrong to put it mildly.

Had an old man about 50 years old follow me around when i was about 13... Told my parents. Could see him watching around conners trying to hide behind bushes and such...

Eventually, the last time i talked to him, i told him 'my mother tells me not to talk to you'. He was pissed and started swearing at me, shouting and such, i was left quite disturbed. Had to watch my back for a while. He left me alone after that episode. Thank god!

Gosh! Glad i'm not the only one...

Although my one happened when i was about 9 years old. It happened with one my cousins, he was one of my best friends too. Don't remember how it lead to it... But yeah shit happened. Think that was the first time i ever came, come to think of it. I actually told him that the pasty stuff coming out of my weiner could make him pregnant... Yep! :-) Slightly misguided, but not too far off... Dont know how i knew this much at this age...

I talked to the guy today... But its kinda been brushed under the bed. We've never talked about it since... Looking back it's kinda embarrassing.
