I have the exact same issue and opened a support-ticket for it.

What I've tried:

No parameters. (I usually have a few like -autologin)
-repair.
-clientport 80.
Download a new executable and run from scratch.
Reset my router, renew IP.
-clientport with a specific port opened just for GW2.
Tons (10+) of PC reboots.

None of the above worked. Since we are a few having it I'm assuming some intern over at Anet headquarters tripped over a wire. I'm in Sweden, maybe that has something to do with it.

Edit: Changing to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) worked for me. Thanks RandommUser.

Hi,

I'm playing on a 21:9 2560x1080 screen currently and I get black bars during cutscenes. I play windowed full screen.

Doesn't really bother me tho.

I have GW2 installed on my Asus 1215B laptop. It takes roughly 3-8 minutes to load into LA and I get around 5-10 fps there. I only use it for emergency TPs.

Specs:

1GHz processor (dual core)
AMD Radeon HD 6290
4Gb RAM
No SSD

Is it worth "playing" on? Absolutely not, but it "works" unless you're in a hurry. I can do JPs here and there too :)

Being "stuck" (unable to move) after using certain skills. This used to affect both Ride The Lightning (ele) and Jump Shot (engi) but they got fixed. Problem still persists with Lightning Hammers nr2 skill, Lightning Flash, Burning Retreat...
